I have the fiaam 129db electric horns mounted inside the fairing and they are more than adequate.

We went on a Disney cruise about 5 years ago when our daughter was still in high school. It was a very nice trip, the activities for the children are exceptional. We did the 3 night in the park and 4 nights at sea package. The Disney island is nice, thiers is the only ship so there isn't anyone trying to sell you stuff and has a separate beach for adults if you want. You can check with Disney but when we were there no other cruise lines used Disney island when our ship was there. I would recommend it over the others due the family theme versus the others with casinos, over imbibers, etc but that is my personal preference.

Holding the bike up wasn't a factor in my decision for a trike, I'm 55 and still in pretty good condition. I wanted something different and always liked the look of the trikes and really didn't want to get rid of the RSV. I preferred Hannigan's design over the other conversions but they only came out last year with an RSV model. I seriously considered one of the Stallions but $33K brought me back to earth.

Jeff, I have an internal antenna in the fairing for am/fm and I took the cb ant off. It was about 5 years ago the last time I used the cb and with cell phones and gps I don't use it. When I set up the installation I meant to have them not put the holes for the antenna but forgot now I have to find some rubber body plugs for them. If you don't want the holes talk to Tim at Hannigan and he can let production know to fill them in. Are you taking it to Murry or somewhere else?

I looked at your pictures when I was thinking about this, very sharp looking rig. Today when I was out I noticed the GPS speed and speedometer now match, I'm used to adjusting 10% for the speedo error when the GPS wasn't on.

1-UP Thanks for the tip. A couple times I found myself putting my foot down, old habits die hard. RoadKill The only thing not included on Hannigan's price list is crating and freight charges which can be quite a bit. I took mine to them since I was going that way and saved that expense. Thanks to all for the compliments and I appreciate the support nad advice.

Dragon Rider very good looking rig you have too. Larry I did get the EZ steer, I test rode one a few months ago with it and besides it was recommended by everyone I spoke to about it.

We picked up my trike from Hannigan on the 26th but didn't get home until late saturday. Today was the first chance to get it out and shake it down. I think I am really going to like it. Thanks to all for the advice when I was considering doing this. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/gunnybutch/P1010001-2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/gunnybutch/P1010002-2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/gunnybutch/P1010003-2.jpg

One word of advice about using IPods, they work great as long as you use one with the flash memory. I use a 4gb Nano without any problem but the first one I tried was a 30gb and the hard drive would eventually crash due to bumps and vibration.
-
That is why I have an enclosed trailer. I use it more for other stuff than motorcycle but nice when you need it, like when we move to Louisville in a couple years.
-
I keep mine in the compartment where the tape deck used to live. The jack cord is run in from the back so there are no exposed cables. I use a 4gb nano, plenty of capacity and no hard drive to crash. My 30gb hard drive crashed regularly no matter where I kept it. The only thing better would be a cable that could keep it charged. (IMHO)

Cut down windshield

My wife and I test rode an RSV trike for about an hour with a short windshield and she said it beat her up pretty good, I didn't notice much difference at all. She is used to the smooth ride back there with the taller windshield and didn't like the short one at all. -
From my experience if the eyes are not open as they lay there he's not done yet. I've seen more than one guy surprised like that.

Are you telling me when I get my trike conversion done there will be no more noise? I had always been told (and convinced) that noise came from the clutch. I'll know for sure next month. -
I took mine out a few years ago and tossed it. The thing skipped, locked up, and took up a lot of space. I would recommend an IPod nano or MP3 player.

I live in Beaufort SC just north of Savannah and have a trailer. I will be using it until about Dec 29th. If his schedule is flexible I can run him up there Jan 5, all it would cost him is gas. If he can't make it then we could work something out, I'd prefer not to loan the trailer but don't mind pulling it for him. There is also a couple other times, Nov 30 (sun) and Dec 6 (sat) I could make it.

Didn't Sirius and XM merge recently? I thought someone mentioned they did and the programming would be available jointly.

Jack for Venture

If anyone is interested I have a Carbon_One free standing adaptor available. It won't be needed on the trike. PM for more information. -
Sorry about not answering sooner, I lost track of time. I took my CB antenna off for normal use. I do put it back on when I think I might use it but that is pretty rare. With cell phones the way they are and the very limited range of the CB (1 1/2 miles ?) the only thing they are good for is group riding.

Do you have washers on the windshield bolts? I have never found mine to loosen up, I snug them down from the center out and they stay solid. I usually have my fairing split once a year for assorted tinkering, recently to remove the cassette player. -
I am having the EZ steer installed. I rode an RSV with it about a month ago and it handled very well.

I finally took the leap and ordered a Hannigan kit. I drop the bike off at the factory in Murray the week before Christmas and pick it up the day after Christmas.
