I would be interested but I am more interested in a wind deflector that mounts on the crach bar in frount of the floor board. I would like to turn it so wind blows over the motor and also diverts the wind outword on cold days. The Yamaha ones are way to expensive for me. My two cents Bubber aka Steve

I sent him two emails one through my regular email and one through the Forum's classified. He only got the one for some reason. You may want to try both or the one you didn't try. Bubber

Using a V-Star 1100 shock on a 1st gen Venture?
Bubber replied to xvz12's topic in Poor Man Tips and Fixes
The dimensions are (((drum roll please)))))) Top shock mount through bushing 1.587" Lower mount outside of clevis 1.580" inside of clevis 1.180" width of base 1.175" (so base measures 1.580" X 1.175") I gotta go out for a while but I will check when I get back or send a PM through my profile if you like. Oh BTW the shock I have was only taken off to replace it with a high price Progressive shock, It was good at the time of replacement ~2 years ago. OTAY? Bubber -

Would you mind if I try that at the PIP this Fall? I have a real noisy rooster I would like to try that on! Just one cup of popcorn? How about a couple of 22 shells? Does the rooster have to be dead first?:banana: Can't wait to try this. Sorry Gary Bubber

On my 1999 Chevy Silverado (230K) I have never replaced the: belt or exhaust (SS). I recently had a head crack and at that time the water pump was replaced. I haven't driven it since but that may be where the squeal is coming from. Bubber

Thanks again guys and gals. I'll be all right, it will just be an adjustment for awhile. I won't be standing around waiting though. Hell I could be with the Ambasador on my way to denver. LMAO. There and will be plenty of people out there hurting just be thankful for what you have and make sure your company and you are successful. Above all thank your God for being there for you and with you. What is the old saying " what don't kill you makes you stronger" I think we are all going to get a little strong in the next year. Take care of yourselves and may God bless all of us. Don't worry since I own my Venture it ain't going anywhere. It will be the last to go! Thanks again folks Bubber
