WOW What a great time had by all!!!!!!! If you missed it then you really missed a good and fun time. I want to thank people in no particular order except Gary and Anne. Thanks for putting up with all of us once again. I know it's a lot of work getting ready for this and as always we appreciate it. Red and Velma our cooks extraordinaire, what a great feast they prepared. I don't want to diminish what the others contributed but Red and Velma did an out standing job. Rick and Marilyn, our helpers, cooks and chief cook and bottle washers.... they did it all. Darrel and Sheila, another do it all couple, pitch in where and when it need to be done. Honorable mention for all they do too. Renata and Al, Leroy, Darnell, McGyver and Bill, TomPhil and wife, Tom and Jim. What the heck everyone all did something to help make this a success. We had some new ideas suggested for next year and it really sounds like some good ideas, I love that about this group. We decided that we are a eating disorder group and we like MC too. Great time had by all, great company, great food, how does life get any better than that????? Makes any trouble you have fad away. Thanks to Mr Pig and the left overs we were able to help a needy family who is going through some tough times. To everyone who contributed, donated, thought of us, prayed for us, showed up, didn't show but wished they were there, thanks for your generosity and kindness to you fellow biker and man, women and child. Plan ahead folk next years has some new surprises, twist and turns. Labor Day 2017 put it on the calendar now. In closing, I am so proud that you people let me be part of this great group I have tears in my eyes with gratitude. Sincerely with all my respect and gratitude Bubber PS I made it home about 2PM, dry and a huge smile on my face from the weekend. I won't even tell you that we got out numbered again by that country to the North of us. Geeze, where do all Canadians come from? Peace!!!!!!!!!!!

Just talked to Gary. Everything is a GO! Gotta stop and pick up the pig on the way to the Pork in the Pines. Got all the groceries and paper goods. Drive careful everyone and enjoy the ride. Well tomephil I have asked who is coming and I don't get that may people who tell me they are. I'll be there with the pig and all others who show up that is all I can tell you at this time. My brother relocated some 7 1/2" steel letters that I will be spray painting flat black, if the weather is good tomorrow. Figured at least for this year we could double face tape them. That stuff hold pretty good. Maybe next year we'll get fancy crazy. Bubber

I accidentally bought 3 motorcycles one year. Wife says, how do you accidentally buy a motorcycle? A lot of fast and fancy foot work later I told he it just happened. I think she bought it. Bubber

Well folks it is only a little over two weeks away from The Pork in the Pines. We have lots to do yet. As usual we have a good crew helping out, Red, Velma, Gary and Ann, Holly, EagleEye, Rick and Marylin, Others. Looks like we have a good start to making this one a really good time. Unfortunately Black Owl is laid up with a broken hip and will be there in spirit only. This is our chance to roast the old bugger good. Rest up Black Owl and concentrate on getting healthy, we need some adult supervision at these events. All that are planning on attending, drive careful and be paired to have some fun. We only have a short time to get a lot of things done: food list to create food to buy camper to pack meal planning cleaning out Gary's garage all the food prep once we get there and a million other items. Good thing we have a good crew of volunteers. This wouldn't happen without them. Thanks Guys and Gals. So come, have a good time, leave your troubles at home, meet new/old friends, eat, be happy, tell jokes, laugh. Get naked (well maybe not). Have an adult beverage or possibly two. Guitar music and a sign along by our resident music guys. Listen to Laura, Marylin and Elizabeth around the camp fire cracking wise. I spoke to Black Owl tonight and he is in good spirits recovering from a broken hip.Says he cannot put weight on his leg for 6 weeks so he won't be making it to the Pork in the Pines this year. Freebird sent him flowers and he was very appreciative and said he is enjoying them very much. I told him his job is to get better in the next 6 weeks and that is all. Not sure how long he will be in the VA but I imagine it will be for awhile yet. We all hope that he makes a full recovery and get back to being the you know what he has always been. Need a little help.....Please I have a large double faced sign for the Pork in the Pines Rally, so you can't miss it when you drive by. But what I could use is someone that does signs because I need some vinyl letters made. Anyone out there got contacts that can get these cheap? Here is what I was thinking 5" letters, Black, it would be great to have the letters arranged in a circle (arch), something like. Pork in the Pines or Pork in the with our pig emblem in the middle Pines Anybody out there that can help with this? time is running out. Sign board measures 48" x 36". There is a 10th anniversary patch with your name on it if you can help. Thanks for looking and helping if you can. Bubber

It has been a while so.... WHY!!!!!!!!

Well folks I done ordered the guest of honor otherwise known as Mr. Oinker. Had a meeting with some of the people that showed up and we have a plan!!!! Yeah! Still need to work out a few kinks but we want to invite everyone that has ever attended to come back and enjoy it once again. Plus we need some newbees to fill in where you can. The goal this year is to out number the Canadians, as much as I love them all I still feel out numbered for three day. LOL We were playing with calling this year a do-over for the 10th Aniversary because of the weather. Come one Come all to a really good time and meet some really good friends you never met before. We will even get Laura to tell a few of her jokes that she saves for this time of year. We'll laugh we'll cry , we'll have a great old time.
