So is he changing his name to "SHORTY", "STUBBY", LITTLEBIT's SISTER? LOL. And still no reply!
-
He probably took his new girl friend to the submarine races. That boy falls in lust, I mean love, at the drop of a pygmy. He better be careful or he be seeing himself in the back of a po-lease car or worse yet alligator fishing and he be the encore for the day. LOL

"t was also a shame for the 3 gents who got sicker than mangy dogs....maybe Anne should have just shot poor ole Bubber! " I was thinking she wasn't going to be that nice to someone who wanted to fricasee her Rooster or at least give it a tonsile-ectomy. I would have paid her to reload if she missed the first time. :yikes: I still had a good time BSing with everyone (while I was up) and fooling around with the bikes a little. I never got a chance to show Scooter Bob the teardrop trailer book. Thanks Karen for kicking Scooter out for the weekend. :Avatars_Gee_George:

Well I was the last to leave (on a bike) with Black Owl come up behind. Left a little after 1:00 and got home at 6:00 ran in to rain in Little Falls and tried to out run it all the way home. Got to North branch and the sky's let loose. It was great seeing everyone again and Big Bob for the first time. I guess the pork was good I was a liitle indisposed that whole day. Long story $hitty outcome. Mr Rooster made it one more year due to some friendly persuasive pleas from someone holding a shotgun. Maybe next year will his undoing. Great time was had by all. Rick sure liked that special beer beer he bought here in the states. and only 64 calories. OH YA what happen at PIP stays at PIP. Lets just say he was thirsty when he left back home. Thanks for the Grampa/ma Gak and Black Owl for pulling off a great 5th anniversary PIP. And the chef, Chris for cooking the guest of honor to perfection. Ya all chime in when you get home so we know you made it safe. Bubber

Well when I was at the state fair I saw a lady that that had all these laser cut letters and it just hit me to make a sign. Yes I am bringing it with me. It is a present to all the reprobates that show up. Gary will have to be the keeper of the sign and display it every year. No LuAnn did not spell it for me! The lady at the fair sure got a charge out of the letters when I laid them all out. She started laughing and said that she had a dirty mind when she read it. I laughed my a$$ off and then I had to explain that it was for a pig roast and a motorcycle rally. I finished it last night and ground thy face of it, it still needed to get a nice coat of rust on it. I have to finish packing tonight, drop off the dog and I will be heading up in the morning, taking my sweet time. Oh ya I gotta stop and get some BEER! See ya all real soon.

If you got some one that needs it, go for it. I would just hang onto it after I fixed it waiting for someone that needed one.

Please keep this going through the week. This is a critical time for our members and I am sure they could and would like all the help they can get. Even though we get older and some of us get wiser it is so difficult to deal with the lose or potential lose of a loved one. It happens but it is never easy. Here is hoping and praying the burden is relieved at least a little by the prayers and good wishes being sent in their behalf. Steve

Bubber replied to Rocket's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
It is looking real good Rocket and Gary. Who knew that you guys were that talented. LMAO You guys did great can't wait to see it in person. I will have to give it the critical eye on Friday. (like I know what to look for LOL). A lot of work sure payed off. We won't even recognize the old deer hunter. Keep the light on for us. Oh I may have a surprise for the PIP if I can get'r done. -
Since I think your were talking to me Two questions What did you use for a hinge It is a special hinge call a hurricane hinge ~$40 What did you use for a locking mechanism Made my our but I have a catalog of parts How did you ensure the seal is water tight Special molding and seals What thickness of plywood did you use I used 3/8 on the side and 1/8" bendy birch on the curved parts. If I was to do it again I would use 1/8 all over Also what are the dimensions I would have to do a check of dimension Steve

I can only think that they appreciate the VenturRiders and what a family they are to help out in the time of need. I know they didn't ask, I asked for them. I want to tell you all thanks for jumping on this and being such good friends. My appreciation is over welming and I am sure their's is too. Have a great weekend and be safe out there. Steve

It is with a heavy heart I tell you that one of our own has some problems that could use all of our help in the form of prayers. The member's father is ill in their home land and it doesn't look good folks. Could you take a little time out of you busy schedules and offer up a few prayers over the next few day. I am sure they would be greatly appreciated. It is tough enough dealing with family illness but it makes it doubly hard from a distance. Since they haven/t made it public knowledge I hesitate to make it for them. You say the prayer and I am 100% positive that the man upstairs will hear them. This is an absolute. Godspeed to our friends and her family. And thank you VenturRide family. Steve aka Bubber

Yes my suggestion is to pack them up nice a safe and put my name and address on the box, take it down to USPS or UPS and send them off to me. I will be glad to properly dispose of them so your wife won't be bothered by that nasty old noise. Hey glad to help after all what are friends for. Is there anything else I can do to help my VenturRider buddies. LOL -
Prayers and good wishes sent! Bubber

Should we tell her which side of the road we drive or just leave it as a surprise? We will have a place to stay here in Minnesota if'in you get to our neck of the woods. My wife spent 1 1/2 years in OZ and we visited Sydney area for a month back in 2003. Looking forward to the OZ invasion. LOL Bubber
