    Thanks Tom, just thanks alot!!!!!! Weather here is "S" and ice and it is going to stay that way for awhile....6 months. I am going to Denver for Thanksgiving (leaving my hungry pitbull to gaurd the house) to be with the youngest daughter. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving even those enjoying "sunshine in Texas" LOL Bubber

    Thanks Eck. I have seen that before. He had the start to finish story posted somewhere and it was real intersting reading as far as I was concerned. A little big but it works for him. The man sure has talent.

    Don't let ScootBob see this he wants to build one too! Is this a concept or do you actually have drawn-up plans for it? I also was toying with building another teardrop but more of a camper style like what you have shown. Good luck on your project and keep us all informed. Pictures are good. Steve

    Well my 3rd Gen arrived today! Courtesy of my wife's cousin, Wes. I guess now I have something to play with this winter. It turns out the title says it is a 69 CS1. It is a 180cc twin two stroke. Any body got parts for this dinosaur? handle bars front blinker lens manual would help too. others I am sure.

    I was talking to Rocket and he mentioned he had heard about using Pine Sol for degreasing carbs so I went searching the net. Here is what I found! Hope it help someone. Pine Sol as a degreaser? Yep, that's what I said. I found this great little trick from "Frank" at the DOHC Custom Forums. http://www.cb750c.com/modules.php?name=Forums He recommended that I use Pine Sol as a 1-3 day soak for the bank of carbs of my 1983 CB1000 Custom. The goal of the soak was to clean the carbs as a bank with most of their internal parts removed (jets, floats, ect) because seperating the 4 carbs is a pain. And it's just plain easier to do a soak than to disassemble the bank. The Pine Sol won't damage rubber/soft parts, is easily washed away and is environmentally friendly. When you're done your parts will smell fresh too - So I bought 3 big bottles of Pine Sol (not the generic stuff) and a plastic box big enough to hold the carb bank. You can scale this up or down as needed – Then I emptied the 3 bottles of Pine SOl into the box and added 1 1/2 bottles of water (this topped the carbs, completely submerging them). Though you can't see it very well, the stripped carb bank is really nasty between the carbs in this pic – The I sat them into the vat - I let them soak overnight and then rinsed the bank off with high pressure water- they looked like new – I have also used the "vat" to clean many other parts. With it's small size I just move the vat & the small parts up to the sink and then can easily wash the Pine Sol off the parts with warm soapy water (Dawn dish washing soap works best- without the hand lotion). I do suggest that if you are going to work in the vat with your hands (scrubbing deep grime with a tooth brush for example) that you wear protective gloves as the Pine Sol will strip your skin of all oil, really drying your hands out. Also, best to keep the vat outside unless you want the house to be overwhelmed by the pine odor.     I was just looking at the pictures from around the country of people honoring our veterans. I cannot express in words how proud I am to have my birthday fall on such a great holiday that honors our fallen, our living vets and our serving vets. And that is why I will never forget this day as long as I live. Thank You all our vets, thank you for your undying service to our country and our way of life. Two of my brothers have served and both have now passed on. So I salute my brothers along with the millions that have also served. GOD BLESS YOU, and God's Speed!     Why thank you kind people and thanks for not asking how old this old dog really is! I seem to remember Noah gathering animals two by two. I just really hate telling really BIG lies to everyone. LMAO Some is OK....... but not to everyone..... at least all at once. With witnesses. I better go, I think my foot is to deep in my mouth already.
