Well first off we know how to deal with snow! We ain't whimps! It will be cleaned off and roads will be fine. Unfortunately it is supposed to be in the single digits and warming up through the week. Dress warm you'll need it. Ice on lakes isn't to thick yet so no ice fishing till after Christmas Bought a new snow blower yesterday cause I was tired of dealing with old equipment Now I am ready for anything. Metrodome is closed today cause the Giants are stuck in Kansas City because they were diverted away from MPLS. Game is Monday instead. You would think the snow would just slide off the Metrodome but NO not happening. LOL

We got 12 to 18' yesterday and last night. with winds up to 50 MPH gusts, just another day in Minnesota. Oh ya temps in the below zero range. WHIMPS !

I believe the bolt patterns (8 Vs 12") are the same, it is just a cost factor.

Glad to hear from you Lowell. Get better cause we expect to see you at the Pork in the Pines 2011 for sure. No if, no and, no buts! The snow we are getting this week end should be melted by then. I have fixed Harley tanks by plugging everything and then using compressed air to force the dent out. BIG Caution here.... you can use to much air and spread the tank at the tunnel if you are not careful. You have been warned. Since there is a vent hose you could use that to regulate the pressure.

So what I am hearing is: 1)this isn't worth doing 2) it can't be done 3) no swingarms laying around that at least can be evaluated for the addition of grease zerks???????? I am willing to try any (positive)suggestions here just need a little assistance.

That explains why there are no voluteers to get rid of their swing arms for this experiment. The ones at Pinwall are cheap enough except for the shipping. Bubber

Dingy had a posting but it was about a 1st Gen. I guess you have to grease them so they don't rust sitting around the garage. LOL I sure would like to have a posting on the 2nd Gen for the same thing. Come on people whats up out there? LOL

When ya trike a Venture do you use the swing arm? I was thinking of trying to find a way to install grease zerks in the swing arm so it doesn't have to be disassembled to grease the bearings. Does anyone have a 2nd gen rear swing arm that they would like to donate to the project. I would write an article and document the steps taken with pictures for our technical library. Any takers? Steve
