There is a company in Ohio that is pretty good and I am sure they get a pretty penny to. Can't remember the name right now. Just heard about them never used them. From what I understand stripping is not a problem like everthing it is all in the prep work.

Gary Do we have a list of people that signed up yet. Just wondering. Do you want to start a posting just for that? Just to get an idea of how many. Maybe Juggler can get it from the PIP site. Did Juggler ever get his coil mounted again?

Steve: I noticed that it wasn't as soft as on the way down. I;ll have to start with zero in the rear and work my way up to see where it works for me. If Momma comes then I'll have to go mid way and strt there. It was great seeing you guys on Saturday and Moma wasn't to Pi$$ed. Guess I should have called her on the cell. I just hate those things. Sarge: I am eating chesse for a week before the PIP . I'll be tighter :moon: than a #%% , well you get the picture. LOL

What a Harley broke? Actually I think they have come a long way as far as reliability from when I was knee high to a grasshopper. I saw at least a 10 to 1 ratio of Harley on the road coming and going to Cody. Never saw so many out on the road before. Glad you got it fixed. Now high tail it to Pork in the Pines on Labor Day!

10 days and counting, I am getting excited now. Man I got lots of stuff to do to get ready. Any body thinking about going to the Davis Rally too? Does anyone know if Annie and Quickstep are headed to PIP ?????? Black Owl you know everything whats up? PS I met up with Eagleeye and Yopper in Saulk City WI when I went to Madison last weekend. Had a great time and sat around and BS'ed. Wife went down there the monday before and wasn't to happy I didn't give her a shout that I was stopping to BS with Eagleeye and Yopper. She'll get over it....... or not! See ya at PIP.

Can you capture that in a picture so I can compair it to mine? That would be great! If I can get it done with out all the swaping I'll get to it before Pork in the Pines. :dancefool: Thanks Elmicko Bubber PS it appears that the throttle cabels are the same part number so they would be the same length too. They must have a different routing do to the different tanks.

I don't have risers, so that is good. Do you remember the vendors name? They must have sent an email with the purchase info. Can you forward the info to me? Anybody else?????

Ok, so a month or so ago I bought a set of RSTD handle bars for my 2006 Venture. My thought is, the RSTD have more pull back and are wider than the Venture bars so can I just get the throttle cable (upper) and the upper brake line from a RSTD an just swap them out with my Venture so that I gain the extra length that everybody says you need with these bars. Are the RSTD lines and cabels longer? Not sure what if anything to do about the clutch line. Could use a little insight into the swap and what others have done. Do I have to change the throttle cable (lengthen it 2”)? Will the standard Venture front brake line be ok “as is” or do I have to lengthen it too (2”)? What about the radio? OR is it a matter of just re-routing the present cable path? And yes I have done the search for some of the answers. LOL Bubber

Well I took the frt brakes off last night because my wife said she heard a noise while we were in Cody. Turns out the brake pads were fine about 3/16" on each side. Pads looks like sintered pads to me and they looked like metal. Hard as heck. Blew out the calipers and pads, sanded the face of the pads and reinstalled. While I had the pads off I compressed the pistons to make the installation easier. it was, but when I applied the frt brakes there was nothing. Keep pumping the brakes and it got real solid like it should be. I am thinking that the noise was just the normal light draging of the pads on the rotor. They seem to be floating caliper so I was not concerned. Rode it in this morning and the brakes were never so solid. Being hard of hearing in top and bottom ranges, I never heard any noise from the brakes. Headed to Madison in the morning to meet up with wife and grandkids, I am stopping by EagleEye's on the way down he is about 20 or so miles from Madison. Yupper is hidding out there also with his wife so it will be nice to see them. Have a great weekend and keep the shinny side up. Bubber

On trailer "IT IS ALWAYS THE GROUND"..... you can take that to the bank. Irecently sold a trailer and could not get the lights to work for the new owner. I spent 1 hour trying everthing I could, finally I drove the trailer around the parking lot and turned real sharpe as to put a little pressure on the ball. Sure as heck they all worked just fine. :rotf:
