  1. Post a picture of it so people can see what your talking about! Just a thought. Good luck in your quest.
  2. FYI if you didn't sign the book at PIP it isn't in the count, I can't change history but I would like to influence it at the next Pork in the Pines by having a great turn out by the Minnesota members.:banana: This event is in our backyard and we should really have a good showing of members and make no doubt about it who has the best turn-out by any state/province. Ya sure you bettcha don't cha know! Here is a list of Minnesota members either trial or supporting. Sign up and come to the pig roast and meet your fellow members and MC enthusiast. 3. Ya gotta show-up to claim the prize! Besides showing-up is ALL the fun. :dancefool: You get to camp, meet new people, meet fellow members , ride, eat till you bust, tell lies around the camp fire, eat till ya bust, work and talk about MC, eat till ya bust, what else could you possibly want. OH ya we will be having a pig roast too!
  4. FOCUS PEOPLE, FOCUS !!!! The challenge is the post not tail feathers. :rotf:
  5. Lions and Tigers and Canadians, OH BOY!!!! I can't wait to meet you all! I better brush up on my Canadian so can converse "A". The more the Merrier a. Where the heck are those Minnesota scan-di-hov-ians? if they didn't sign the book they weren't there, just like pictures.
  6. PORK IN THE PINES I would like to offer a personnel challenge to all who are considering coming to the Pork in the Pines. Below are the number of people that actually signed the PIP book last year with the states/province that they live in. The challenge is to get the most people from any particular state/province and they will win a prize to be determined. (i.e first in line for the pig feed) or if possible a real prize. :whistling: For all those people from Minnesota you should take this as a personnel challenge so that we are not out numbered, after all the PIP in in your home state. The cheesheads :whistling:had a equal number of attendees and we all know we can't have that, even though we love them all we need to show some strength and team spirit. :crying: We had more Canadians "A" than from any one state, what does that say about their spirit? Some (Rick) even brought a free case of his favorite beer! :rotf::rotf: I don't want to be the only one talking Scandahovian to everyone and telling Ole and Lena jokes to myself. Ya sure you betcha. Lets get with it folks. Attendees that signed-in with state/province in 2011 We think there were more, but they didn't sign the book MO. - 1 NY.- 2 MN.- 9  WIS.- 9 :moon: Winnipeg- 4 Manitoba- 7 Texas- 2 Illinois- 1 SD.- 2 IOWA- 4 ND 2 Michigan- 1 Ok the challenge is on Minnesota! 7. When your good nothing is impossible. Besides I had my eyes closed! Ya can't weld if you supervising and taking pictures and I AM BEING GENEROUS!!! Bubber
  8. Thanks Gunboat, you have good taste!!!! Pmelah I read the first part and then quit reading!
  9. Here is my two cents I am about 303 miles away but I will do what I can to assist. My daughter lives in Madison Wi and I will be making trips down there between now and then so I could meet up with some of you to discuss and do some planning. Yes I know it is a lot of work from talking to the folks that planned Cody but if we can split up the work and set a schedule to get'r done. I have complete confidence we can pull it off. Besides we have lots of cheeseheads that live close to the immediate area that are real imaginative and know how to get things done. Phones can connect us all. Did I mention I love this forum? I have never met a bunch of people that are more willing to loose their egos and jump in and help like all that I have met here. Count me in! :dancefool::dancefool: Bubber aka Steve
  10. Don't you think that the roaster will look cool(er) with longer stacks. Lets take a vote! Results YES 539 NO no votes
  11. I'll let the pictures do the talking! Enough said! Good time with good folks.
  12. Picture #7 Gary is actually asleep holding a drill don't be fooled. :rotf: #8 is after he woke up and we started the grill he thought it was time to eat again. Actually folks we three make a very good team, either helping or working or coming up with ideas. We complement each other while we each took turn rotating through those three elements. The proof is how much we accomplished in one day. Hurray for the Roaster Team! :dancefool: OK that did sound a little self serving, but who else was going to do it? LMAO :missingtooth: Well that's my story and I am sticking to it. Bubber aka Steve PS: I wonder where the pictures of Black Owl working could be?
  13. It is so dry that when you spit it comes out steam and evaporates before it hits the ground !
  14. All I can say is we had a great stupidvisor and a great gopher to help. Well actually WE got a lot done and came up with some fantastic modifications to what we did last Fall. Owl has pictures of the mods and I hope he puts a little explanation with each picture to point them out. Other than than I was and am completely blameless! No people were hurt in the execution of our modifications either. The good worker bee Bubber
  15. Stay tuned for all the lies Black Owl will be telling. We just got home and unpacked Owl has all the pictures and will be posting when he gets home. Bubber

    Lost Key

On a 2nd Gen the key code is printed on the backside of the cover on the ignition switch assembly. Just swing it over and use a mirror to read it. Good luck Bubber
  17. Black Owl and I (Bubber) will be traveling to LaPorte next weekend 7/28 to finish up the Pig Roaster we started last Fall. Not all that much to do but it needs to get done and ready for the guest of honor, Mr Porkasourious. :rotf: Gary when you read this this is the only warning you get that we are invading your workshop. LOL I have got to get with Black Owl to finalize the lift off time and slash down and just the other stuff in between other than that we are all set. If any one is interested in lending a hand or just stopping in to see to old farts working and offering your 2 cents worth about the design... have at it! Other than that see you all in the Fall at the Pork in the Pines. Bubber
  18. It was so cold in there the shrinkage factor took over.
  19. Ya know, those gals just don't have any sense of humor or appreciation for a manly physic (fiz-eek) or something like that. And I showed them my best side too.
  20. This is / was my first naked chat. Sitting here naked at the computer and there is no one here. That wouldn't be so bad but I keep getting dirty looks from my wife bridge club. You would think they never saw a naked guy at a computer before.
  21. If you are correct and I am not say you aren't, what would be the definition of stupidity and dumb a$$? :rotf:
  22. As long as they are off I would go and check the float levels per VGoose's write up. just makes sense to me to do this while you can at no cost or real time. Bubber
