  1. It's a partnership she cooks and you eat.... nothing wrong with that ...right?
  2. I'd say you need to get out more but I am not sure that is not possible. Stay warm and stay away from Atlanta. Be safe my friend. Bubber
  3. What do you do in the south when you really get snow? Not trying to be a mart A$$ just seems funny to hear that a inch of snow is so crippling. We have drivers here that are stupid enough to drive like it was summer when they get the first snow fall of the year. They are called accident victims or organ donors. Back in the sixties when I worked in a body shop we prayed for the first snow because the next day we would be busy. Funny how people can't figure out that ya gotta slow down on snow and ice. OH well. Live and learn. Be safe and joy we only got 3 more months of winter (I hope). Bubber
  4. Hey I'm only a day late... that means I am early for me. Happy Birthday Gary ...many more.
  5. How about white out conditions, zero visibility, 40 MPH winds and the kids want to go out and play in this stuff. Other than that it is a little nippy outside. Good ice fishing weather though. Bubber
  6. You found your snow blower? Owl you lucky guy. I can't even find my shed! :rotf: Ya get a little snow and ya whine about temps in the teens. It has been -20F with wind chills -40F. Now that's something to whine about. Seriously for people who aren't familiar with driving is this crap, stay home and don't contribute to the mass confusion and accidents that are sure to follow. I am charging my battery as I write just to get the truck started. Oh what fun in -10F. Stay home, be safe and enjoy the white stuff while you can, or should I say while you have to. Best to all in the south just thankful I ain't getting anymore... at least today. Bubber
  7. What would you do if you really got some snow? I am looking out my deck slider and there is at least 18" of the white stuff with temp below zero for literally weeks. As they said back in the day "It's colder than a well diggers nose" .
  8. Tom your are definitely sick,... in more than one way. Hope you feel better soon! Bubber

  14. Well wishes from the ice cold upper mid-west. Hoping and praying for your successful surgery and recovery. Even though we have never met we are all part of the VR Family and trust me that says a lot. We are all pulling for you and the man up stairs surely won't ignore such a bunch of nice guys as us. God's speed and all the best in your time of need. I hope to meet you sometime in the not to distant future. Steve aka Bubber
  15. quote= Bubber: Why would anyone advertise something that was unavailable? GOOD POINT!
  16. Why would anyone advertise something that was unavailable? Waste of space ain't it?
  17. Here is a hint. Bearing manufacturers want you to know that they made the bearing, they are proud of them. I wouldn't buy any bearing that didn't have the manufacturer's name on the bearing. Most likely repackage from China. Run would be my advice.
  18. I was just playing with ideas at this time. I want to be able to talk to someone about it when I decide what the heck I am really doing. Bubber
  19. Sorry to hear about your Mom. God bless and God's speed! Steve aka Bubber
  20. VERY CARFULLY and that is for sure.
  21. I LIKE THE REFLECTIVE ASPECT! Jackets looks good too. Don't need to carry a shooting iron, I avoid places where I would need to carry one. Great to have the pockets though. Pricey Good luck on your decision. Bubber
  22. Self promotion? Oh? Other than me.... Never mind!
  23. Does anyone have access to a laser or water jet cutting? I would like to ask some questions. Can a cut be made from a pattern or do you have to have a digital file? I understand a file would be better but some of us don't have the ability to make them and do it right the first time. Any body got any contacts? Just inquiring at this point. Bubber
  24. In my opinion buy only brand name bearings. Go to a bearing shop and they can cross reference the numbers on the bearing. Each number has a specific meaning. (i.e. size ID/OD, seal, material, cage, etc.) Some brand names: FAG Timken Buy good quality bearings and do it once. It ends up being cheaper than doing it twice and less aggravating. Bubber
  25. Your hair probably curled from all that heat you been having in OZ. Have a good one and ride it like you stole it... both you and Al. Bubber
