  5. I think you will find that red is permanent. meaning something that is not intended to come apart (usually ever) or not serviceable. Most time only when heat is applied will it breakdown so it will come apart. Blue is for serviceable items that you want locked on but intend them to come off when you wrench on them. As others have said keep it away from plastic to just keeps softening and eats it. Hope that helps, that is my understanding of how it works and is supposed to be used. Like most stuff from China... buy the name brand if you truly want it to work properly each and every time. And you can get it in small tubes so t isn't costly like buying a bottle of the stuff. 20. Minor differences with seat upholstery and Midnight has additional chrome not on regular Venture. Midnights are black only.
  21. PS: did you really ride through all those state? Did you take a pee in each state? Was it your bike or borrowed? Was it off the trailer? Do you have witnesses? Did you document your ride, pea, ride at least 100 miles in each state? Rules are rules. State Marking Police we have another violator!
  22. That's it I am calling the map police and reporting all of you for violations of the internationally sanctioned rules of flag marking. Ya right! What ever floats your boat, flips your skirt, or raises you flag pole (pun intended). Isn't marking of the states for your own personal benefit or is it to strut you stuff in front of the forum. Example. Rhode Island in spots isn't even 100 miles across so if you cut across it you wouldn't be able to count it or mark it on your map. Rules are rules except when they are less than intelligent rules. I don't have a map but if I did I would mark it in the way it meant something to me or should I mark it in a way that means something to someone else? Bubber
  23. Remember "loose lips sink ships" No that's not it "slow and steady gets the job ready" (I think I just made that up). Ya that's it! That's the ticket. Take a break and start up again a little later. Cooler heads will prevail. Best of Luck Mr. Yamaduck  Steve aka Bubber
  24. Are we having a tough day YamaDuck??? :rotf:
  25. I would say people mark their states based on their own interpretation of what and why they are marking it. For instance, one may mark the states that they have been in not just driven a bike in. Mark it any way you want and for what ever reason you want. NO RULES. Make up your own. No need to be a sheeeeep and follow the crowd. Baaa. and that is about what it is worth too. Bubber
