  1. OK I am convinced that the fuel pump points are bad, where can I get a replacement set? From who? Has anybody replaced them? I am sure I saw something on here about it. But I can't find it, at least what I thought I was looking for. Help somebody! Thanks Bubber
  2. Do you know the difference between pink and purple ? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . your grip! :rotf: My bad!
  3. Fuel filter less than a year old. No not wet. Nice sunny cool day. Volt gage shows between 13 and 14 (not very accurate) Filled up and dosed her with 1/2 a can of seefoam I'll see whats up tomorrow. Never had a hint of a problem on the way home either. So what's up with that.
  4. Hope to see ya there. we'll leave the light on and you'll be able to hear Owl snoring from a block or two away. Come and enjoy.
  5. Ya first thing I thought of was the gas cap, took it off, never notice any hissing. Blew out the lines a couple of weeks ago when I had the tank half off. Fuel pump was clicking. So I think that is OK. Never screwed with the ignition switch. I am going to try the Seafoam and I already tightened the battery terminal and see what gives when I ride it to work tomorrow. Anybody else?????
  6. I was riding to work today (50 miles) and I was about 1 mile from work and my bike just decided to run like crap and then just quite. So there I was standing on the side of the road wonder "what the heck" those may not have been the exact words I used. Any way I walked across the street the gas station did my duty and walked back. Tried to start it a couple of times and it acted like it was out of gas. Stood there some more and it started. Rode off to work and worried about getting home at night. Before I left work I tightened the terminals on the battery, I remember someone stating that they had a similar problem and it was a poor connection. I am a firm believer that all electrical problem and ground or connection issues. So now what? I was going to get gas anyway so I was going to put Seafoam in and let it do it's magic overnight. Any other bright ideas? Bubber
  7. Well Sarge did you fall off the grass or not?
  8. Yes always room for tents. We usually have about 20 or more camping out. Hope your coming this year.
  9. Be aware of Pete he may want to talk you into having a sip of tequila, If he takes the cap off and throws it over his shoulder, grab the grass so you don't fall off. :rotf: Hope he makes it to the PIP.
  10. Gary will be on later and maybe he can check on availability and get back to you. Bubber
  11. Hoping that you make it on time, safe, and sound. Grampa! :rotf: Hope you like the sound of that cause you'll be hearing that a lot in years to come. See ya at the PIP. Good on ya and have a great rest of your trip. Bubber
  12. When I drove from Massachusetts to Minnesota a number of times I would always look for a rabbit to follow behind just so the HP spotted him first. I was very successful using this technique. Never did get an invitation to the HP Ball. Bubber
  13. Dang I hope I remember to go to the PIP in Oct. I have just to many things going on in my life so I plead the fifth or was it I drank the fifth.:rotf: Which ever one it was I am plead innocent to all crimes committed, thought to have committed or was intending to commit. That just about covers it, I think. Bubber

  15. I have to change the date of the meeting due to someone totally forgetting about the meeting and not showing up. So before they can jump on my s@%$ I thought I would beat them to it. Russ called and wanted to know where the heck I was so I told him I was in North Branch. So he said why? So now I said because I live there. That's when he wanted to know why I am not in St. Cloud at the M&E. That is when my jaw dropped and the light came on and I remembered I was supposed to be in St Cloud because I was the one who set it up. DUH!:rotf: This is when the thought of just how much crap I am going to get for not going to the meeting that I set up ran through my mind. So there I confess I !@#$%^-ed -UP. SORRY! So there you go, I messed up big time! I going over to the corner to lay by my bowl now.
  16. Congrates my friend! :dancefool: Have a safe and memorable ride. See you at PIP.

  25. Since I just got back to work and have to travel 50 miles each way I have been riding the bike. BUT.... not so good if it rains, so I am looking for a good high MPG car that is reliable and I can get at least 3 years out of. No I am not looking for new. I just thought with all the smart people we have on here they could share their experiences and head me in a good direction. I wanted a Honda Civic but people think they are made of gold or something . People tell me what you drive and what you know about high MPG cars. Thanks Bubber
