1. I do work remotely from time to time but my immediate boss (who will be away on business when this gig is happenin) is my backup for when I am not here. With me gone and him gone, there's nobody to look after things related to IT if something goes wrong that requires a hands-on person. Murphy's Law would be working against us in that case LOL Wish we could make it but unless his plans change, we're S.O.L.
2. Rain, rain, and more rain ...
3. Send it over here Kevin ... Victoria gets the sun and we get the clouds (kinda like the Jerry Reed song ... "She Got the Goldmine, I Got the Shaft")
4. What's your bet? I'll see it.
5. That's fine but you'd have to trade your antiques in for a new Victory
6. good observation !
7. In this part of the world there is rarely road grime and we rarely get much salting as there is hardly ever any snow. When there is, it all comes down at once, lasts for a week and by then has all melted and washed away by rain. I wash my truck maybe 3-4 times in a full year coz it doesn't get very dirty here. As for frozen water ... that "pool" did have some ice on it a couple weeks ago when the temps dropped below freezing for 3 days .... we "might" see that again...
8. June 2013 or January 2014 Can you tell by this pic? (in front of the building where I work, D/T Vancouver)
9. Ours is coming up soon ... was there last year and the only reason I went was to man the booth for a local club I belong to. Prolly won't be going this year.
10. When you first announced this, Nina and I were IN. Unfortunately, as I later found out, the dates conflict with my boss's days off and as the rule goes, we both can't be away at the same time.
11. probably like a bike tuner you connect your laptop to to tune it. EDIT: oops... jeeeez I hate that ... when someone posts the answer while I'm typing.... LOL!!
12. Question: Once you get it started, what do you plan to do? Whatever it is, don't rely on the bikes charging system to fully recharge the battery. To properly (and fully) charge a discharged battery, it should be disconnected and charged up using a proper battery charger.
13. cheap = what dollar value ?
14. Thrustmaster T.Flight HotasX joystick for my PS3
15. Well, you wouldn't believe the can of worms that my OP opened up on another forum. I DO NOT want that to happen here so, if it does, I'm formally requesting one of the moderators to delete this whole thread. My apologies.
16. You callin me a fool .... FOOL!
17. Let's take that one a step further then. Here in BC, Canada (and in several other provinces) we have what is called "Family Day" ... it's a paid holiday. Now, if you don't have a family, get back to work! LOL Really, they are getting their "religious" day off with pay ... it just so happens that THAT day is Dec 25th. As for the Athiests (like me), Dec 25th is for when Santa Claus comes. (now let's not go turning this into a religious debate coz we all know what will happen then.... right Don?)
18. Some things take longer to learn for some of us. Thankfully drinking and NOT driving is one I finally learned about 15 years ago. Prior to then, I'm still surprised I never killed or injured anyone or even got a DUI. One 24 hr suspension and I shed my stupidity ... (at least for that )
19. Saying Merry Christmas is now considered racist and offensive. Well, if you're offended, here's two words for you... Merry Christmas
20. Goes to show ya some of the members here are TWISTED!
21. I put my nuts on mine on Saturday
22. the "gelding"....
23. SilvrT

24. Ya, I thought of that too ... so sorry for STEALING THE SHOW
25. Just underneath the left and right side of the seat you will see two nuts (one on either side). You have to remove the two on top of the seat first in order to stoop down to see them...
