I get the same thing... SilvrT, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? New Site

Definitely a nicer "look" to it. Obviously a few more "goodies". What I don't see anymore (and I couldn't see them in the old site) is the pics I uploaded to my "album" which no longer exists??
  3. My '85 was a "whiner" between 2900 and 3100 rpms in all gears.
  4. What kind of phone is it? If android, you should be able to simply plug it into your computer with a USB cable (probably same one you use to charge with) and open it up in Windows Explorer as a disk drive. Inside, find the folder called DCIM. Inside there you will find your photos. Apple is a different bird and I think you need iTunes for that.
  5. That sounds like a smokin deal, especially with disassembly/reassembly. Personally, I would be very leery about someone disassembling/reassembling my scoot unless I knew he had LOTs of experience with MY kind of bike.
  6. I did a complete color change on my '87 including the seat. That was several years ago so memory has faded as to how much paint was used so, a good guess is 2 quarts of color and 2 quarts of clear. Problem I found was I couldn't buy the clear in quart sizes. I had lots of clear left over as well as hardener and reducer. It's a LOT of work and it's very helpful to keep all the little screws, nuts, bolts together in baggies with labels for which body part they belong to. Pics of things before and during dis-assembly will be a great help when putting it all back together. Wherever possible, put screws, etc back into parts where they came out of after the part has been removed. This way you don't have to remember which screw came out of what.

  9. My DEAR hunting days are over ... (for your sake tho, don't let the missus catch you)
  10. You mean you're not at the stage of talking to yourself yet?
  11. I woke up in the middle of the night to take a leak, couldn't get back to sleep so I come on here and THIS is what I find???? GROOOAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!
  12. Good luck to ya Don, I know exactly what you're in for. Take your time, plan it out, and yes, make sure it's all backed up.
  13. Want to? .... YES Can? ... unfortuantely NO
  14. Apparently Nextdoor is not available outside the US.
  15. That's a great idea I'm taking to my new neighborhood. We are moving end of Nov. Nice place, not so nice area. High crime rate. Unfortunately I'm losing my garage and will only have a carport and a shed. Shed is big enuf to get the scoot in but access is difficult, especially getting it out. So, parking the scoot in the carport is the only option. Bought a security camera system, motorcycle alarm system, and caliper lock. Neighbors are all older, retired folk and they do keep a close watch. Having such a website seems like a good idea for this area. That said, talking with current owner and a couple of the neighbors, there hasn't been many incidents in this particular community which consists of appx 100 homes.
  16. Totally agree! I've also ridden it a few times (both ways) and it's much better going south simply because you can pull off much easier.
  17. hahaha ... I get the same from my wife ... and I respond pretty much the same. I blew almost $600 on a pair of mufflers without saying anything (asking) ... then I had to do some "sukkin up" when she confronted me over what I "told her" I paid ... (which of course was somewhat less) LOL
  18. hmmmmmm... sounds like my Victory when it was stock ...
  19. Pete, thanks for posting that. It was great to sit here at my computer and go for a ride in the comfort of my home while it's peeeing rain outside! Enjoyed your commentary too. Without that, it could have been a boring vid LOL
  20. Guess I'd better look into this as I have a 2005 Silverado and from the looks of it, the spare has never been removed since new !!
  21. Tell the truth Brian, selecting 2x speed on a vid is the ONLY way a 2nd gen can go fast :stickpoke: ps, nice vid and your bike sounds great!
  22. There's no evidence it was you on that scoot but if it was, you've lived up to your nick name LOL ! :stickpoke:
  23. Just a couple comments from the Victory forum. Thought you might be interested.
  24. Let's see some vids or stills of y'all "in action" on your scoot. Here's me 2 months after I bought the CCT
  25. And why does that concern you? Certainly wouldn't concern me.
