  1. Since I have no hair, and lost it before I went grey, does that mean all my brain cells are still alive? As the above happens to me all the time, I guess the answer to the first quote is .... NO!!!
  2. You should do like one of my students did (back when I was a computer instructor) ... she kept all of her passwords on stickys on her monitor Myself, I keep all important URLs and their login information in a password protected Word document on my computer. Fortunately, I never forget that ONE password.
  3. Is anyone here a "real person"? How do we really know we're not seeing things posted by aliens? Maybe this is really some kind of "twilight zone" .... doo-doo doo-doo doo-doo ....
  4. SPIDERS!!! :scared:

    HOA venting

heck, I thought this thread was about something else...
  6. FWIW, I've repainted 3 bikes over the years (all with "tupperware") using regular automotive primer/surfacer with zero adhesion issues. First one was aftermarket fairing and bags (can't recall the brand) I added to my 76? Honda CB750. Next one was an '83 Wing, 3rd was an '87 Venture.
  7. I heard that when brain fluid leaks out, it's just your body making room for all the "smarts"! Hope all goes well for ya bro!
  8. Everyone knows Blue is a "calming" color whereas Red is an "aggressive" color.
  9. Enjoy!

  12. We are moving end of Nov and I've got this really bad feeling it will be snowing ... guess I'll be trailering the scoot
  13. Unfortunately, Victory didn't engineer a locking mechanism ... maybe they figured nobody would dare to steal a Vic ? I've added a caliper lock plus an alarm system that even has a "near to" feature, meaning if someone even gets close to it, the alarm will sound.
  14. "They" say "this is the way we've always done it". I say "just because you've always done it that way, doesn't mean it the right way or that there isn't a better way" Some folk are just too afraid of change. As for the steering of the bike, I leave mine straight. Why? because "that's the way I've always done it" :rotf:
  15. tell the truth Brian, it's easier for YOU to "catch on"...
  16. Reading what some of you have paid for your scoot, I figure I've ALWAYS paid WAY TOO MUCH for mine! I'm not gonna read any more of this thread, it's too DEPRESSING!
  17. I'm still on the fence. There's some things that are better, some that really make little difference, and a couple things I don't like at all. Oh well, as the saying goes "you can please some of the people some of the time............." That said, as an IT guy and application developer, I can "walk in Don's shoes". As other's have expressed, thanks Don for all your hard work and dedication to keeping this forum alive and current with the times.
  18. OK, so I added my scoot ... I still don't see a way to turn off the display of PhotoPlog :bang head:

The thick BLACK dividers between the posts are a little hard to look at due to the stark contrast between the BLACK and WHITE and the clickable links on the bottom black bar of each post are really hard to see. Drop-down menus ... the highlited choice is "blacked" out. In otherwords, as you move the selection bar up/down a drop-down menu, as the highlite moves, it blacks out the menu item is is supposed to be highliting. For example, the "Quick Links" menu. ya, can't say I'm happy with the color scheme. Thought there was a way to change it in the old version but can't seem to find that here.
