  1. I was born 6 months afterwards. 12/28/2006 On 6/7/2006 I was just about to start my first day at my new job (which I am currently at still) and was making wedding plans with my then to be wife Nina ... we got married Aug .... uhhhh... lemme think ... uhhhh ah yes, it was Aug 12th 2006!! So 2006 was, in many ways, a memorable year to say the least!
  2. That was the first "big bike" I ever rode. I was very inexperienced at the time, gave it too much gas, popped the clutch and .... up came the front wheel and straight into a power pole I went! LOL
  3. I know this is an old thread but when I came across this I laffed out loud! Truer words were never spoken!
  4. For me it's RUM! LOL
  5. so, the question that comes to my mind is ..... WHAT DO YOU DO? Congrats to you both for enduring all the ups and downs for so many years. Very few relationships these days are strong enough to last such a long time.
  6. I've seen that before and it's well worth watching and getting others watching it. Therefore, I posted it on facebook with a request for everyone to feel free to share my post. The more we get the message out there, the safer our roads might be not only for us "bikers" but for everyone.
  7. Limit the use of US currency and use your credit card. Preferable to exchange for CAN money before you come and pay for incidentals with that. Using US currency, establishments might not give you as much of an exchange as a bank would. Due to the large gap between the CAN and US dollar now, I'm starting to see that places south of the border aren't accepting CAN money whereas they once did not so long ago. (course, that doesn't apply to you)

  10. Are the holes cut soas to differentiate between male or female? Does one hole smell worse than the other? (that will differentiate for sure!)

  16. Nope, I'm branching off at Everett and heading inland via Leavenworth, Ellensburg, and stopping overnight at The Dalles where I'll hook up with divey and dale. Heading down Rte 97 from there although I'm not sure which way they are going.

  22. How many of you remember? Back in those days it was common to see these in various public places such as bus depots, train stations, etc. It was also common to see the walls covered with jokes and other forms of humor or drawings of various kinds. Some were quite "graphic" to say the least! To a degree it was almost worth the dime to get to read all of that "stuff". It always intrigued me to find some of the same "jokes" in different bathrooms in different parts of the country ... as if the same "author" had been there too! One of my all-time fav jokes on those walls is ... Here I sit, broken hearted, Paid my dime and only farted... You don't see pay toilets any more, at least not in my part of the country but go to a gas station to put air in your tire and it will cost you a dollar!! Too Funny that is! 50 years ago I had to pay a dime to pass air and now I got to pay a dollar to get air!! Irony??
  23. @divey Yup, got my room booked. Might even run into you enroute if you're going down 97. I'm branching off I-5 at Everett and taking Rte 2 over to Leavenworth and swinging south on 97 from there.
