Many years ago, I married a widow out of love who had an 18-year-old daughter. After the wedding, my father, a widower, came to visit a number of times, and he fell in love with my step-daughter. My father eventually married her without my authorization. As a result, my step-daughter legally became my step-mother and my father my son-in-law. My father's wife (also my step-daughter) and my step-mother, gave birth to a son who is my grandchild because I am the husband of my step-daughter's mother This boy is also my brother, as the son of my father. As you can see, my wife became a grandmother, because she is the mother of my father's wife. Therefore, it appears that I am also my wife's grandchild. A short time after these events, my wife gave birth to a son, who became my father's brother-in-law, the step-son of my father's wife, and my uncle. My son is also my step-mother's brother, and through my step-mother, my wife has become a grandmother and I have become my own grandfather. In light of the above mentioned, I would like to know the following: Does my son, who is also my uncle, my father's son-in-law, and my step-mother's brother fulfil the requirements for receiving childcare benefit? My first job was at a fly in fishing camp in northern Ontario called Barney's Ball Lake Lodge. I was 15 and I got the job coz my mom worked there. This was a 1st class fishing / hunting lodge that catered mostly to rich Americans. We flew in on either an Otter or Beaver pontoon plane. Had a love of flying ever since. My job involved preparing the lunch boxes for the fishing guides. These were filled with all the necessary utensils, pot, pans, and cooking necessities for the guides to prepare a "shore lunch" for the guests from the fish caught during the morning. Other parts of my job involved hauling all the garbage from the cabins and lodge to the dump in an old army jeep. Louis, the frenchman who owned the jeep was quite fussy about it and I had to make sure I kept it clean and didn't wreck it. One day I got it stuck at the dump as I was unloading the kitchen scraps, etc and as usual, the bears knew it was dinner time. Normally that wouldn't be a problem coz I normally didn't get stuck. In my attempts go get out of there before the bears ate me, I got mud and muck all over the jeep from spinning the wheels. Old Louis taught me every French swear word there is that day! We also went out on the lake and netted minnows for bait, brought them back to camp and kept them in a "live pool". The guests would bring their afternoon catch back to our "fish house" where several of us would clean, wrap, and flash-freeze the fish for them to take home. I became quite proficient at filleting fish in those days. All forgotten now though. Being quite "green" and shortly after I'd started work there, my immediate supervisor (guy I mostly worked with) sent me down to the warehouse to get something he needed to include in the lunch box for one of the guides. I was told to tell the guy in the warehouse that Joe sent me to get a long weight. Well, I waited ... and I waited .... and waited .... I could fill pages and pages of my summer experiences working there ... had to be one of the very best times of my life.

I want to cut back on riding and spend more time doing other, "relaxing" things so, we're selling the Victory, buying an older 5th wheel trailer, couple kayaks, and an older motorcycle (not totally sure what just yet but looking at older Wings). I expect this to all come together early spring. Like you and others elude to, I'm just getting tired of riding all the time ... plus my finger and thumb on my right hand get extremely sore after a few hours of twistin and I feel fatigued from eye strain after several hours. Gettin old is the issue but really, riding has been my number one passion most of my adult life but now it's time to move on.

I'm considering buying an older Wing (1988 - 2000) if I find the right one. Currently looking at an '89 Would like to get some feedback from any of you that have owned these bikes. Bro-in-law has a '96 and he loves it but has had some alternator issues... which are now resolved.

To add to that ... the lady who has to dig all through her purse to find the exact change.... ggrrrrrrrrrrrrr And then there's the one's who feel it's a good time for a gossip session.... ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Glad you had a great trip and enjoyed some of those routes. As for "affording" .... it gets more and more difficult every year coz my wages don't seem to go up by the same percentage that my living cost does ... but I'd guess that's pretty much the norm everywhere! I used to think I'd be able to retire somewhere around 67 ... now that I'm 68 and still working, I'm shooting for 70 but I figure the way things are going by the time I hit 70, I'll be looking at 75 .... geeeesh! And my boss says I can't leave unless they're carrying me out in a pine box!!

Yup!! I'm with ya on that one too. And then there's the guys who cover the toilet seat with a$$-wipes instead of the available paper seat covers, they do their business and just leave the mess behind and in some cases, the mess inside the bowl also! gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Next one ... and this really causes me to:bang head: my head .. when my wife prepares a meal ... she puts all the scraps from the preparation process into the sink ... then when she's all done, she moves them to the garbage containers which are slide-outs and directly under the sink! Why not just put them there in the first place???? another --->

I'm in sync with Don and Doug on theirs. Now here's one of mine .... you know those little 2-cup coffee pots they have in motels? ... and the coffee packets? WHY is the basket in the coffee pot ROUND and the coffee packet SQUARE ????? In fact, has anyone ever seen a square basket?? ggrrrrrrrrrr this drives me crazy every time. Was sure nice to stay in a motel (Yreka) that had the new Keurig style coffee makers. Oh yes, I do have many more too!

The process is you let the underlying color dry (in this case black), then you use a "slow" reducer and maybe even some "retarder" additive in the top coat. Lay the saran wrap down ... pat it, pull it, and yank it off (the saran wrap ya perv !! LOL) ... let that all dry and then start applying the clear.

That can be achieved using saran wrap ... back in the late 70's and early 80's it was the hot item ... had a paint and body shop then and did quite a bit of that.

Good point. When installing Win 10 you'll get to a screen that says... “Hi there, welcome back” Click Next On the “Get going fast” screen, click Customize Settings at bottom left of the screen. On the “Customize Settings” screen, - turn off all four items - click Next - then turn off all except “Send error and diagnostic info to Microsoft” - click Next - click Next again. After Win 10 is done installing, go to the link Gothic posted and do the suggestions there.

I've upgraded 4 systems already. 2 at work, my home PC and wife's laptop ... All except wife's laptop were running Win7 Pro. Her's was 8.1 Just one issue so far... At work we run our phone interface thru the web browser (it's VoIP and remotely hosted) ... it's not compatible with the new "Edge" browser. Simple fix, just run it thru IE. I'll let a couple users at work run the two systems for a while to see if anything crops up. Only one thing I've found so far that I'm not liking ... when you lock the screen, it seems as if it logs you right out coz to get back in you have to re-enter your user credentials. (this is at work and running in an Active Directory domain). In prev versions you only needed to key in your password.

I dunno Kerry... standing on corners ... late nights with two guys .... BTW, unfortunately we can't make it over on the long weekend (and this isn't related to the above...)

Do you make a habit of standing on street corners Kerry? Is there something about you we don't know (and maybe don't want to know)? LOL
