...and passports can't be fake??? if a D/L or a birth cert can be made up on a computer, what's to say a passport can't? Now, I'm not totally up on this subject so someone enlighten me please... Once it becomes mandatory for Canadians to have a passport to enter the US, will it also be mandatory for US residents to have a passport to enter Canada?

I just looked at your profile... it's no wonder you're confused... your just a young 'un !

Since we're on the topic of "North America", why is it that only the folks in the USA are referred to as "Americans". There is North & South America...if we live in either, are we not an American?

Want to really confuse a "young" store clerk? Give them $20 bill for a $4.67 purchase, wait untill they've rung the $20 in and then hand them 17 cents!

Backing up is extremely important...it's like having insurance. As for the cost you mention above and the "blue screen", I would suggest there wasn't a lot wrong with the hard drive but rather, the Operating system files became corrupted. A "blue screen" will not appear if the hard drive is not working at all. If it is spinning, then it's accessible. It's when it's not spinning and not accessible when it costs a lot of money to recover stuff from it. You're lucky you have this shop and they are honest & reasonable...some places would con you into a new PC, printer, the works! .... you got a good deal!

When you're "married" to someone, should you have to identify yourself? Frankly, why a driver's license and birth certificate is NOT sufficient identification between Canada and the USA escapes me. Why, when every piece of ID I have says without a shadow of a doubt that I am Canadian and I live in Canada, why should I be further doubted and forced to have yet another piece of ID to enter the USA.

You have to specify what to clean and what not to. The first screen is the "Windows Cleaner" ... if you don't uncheck things like cookies, history, autocomplete form history, etc... yes, you will lose stuff you might want to keep. These programs will, by default, clear out "junk";however, some of that can be good junk. For example, most cookies are junk but things like on-line banking login information, etc are not junk but are stored in a cookie. If you get rid of all cookies, you'll lose that info. Addendum... If you look in the Options | Cookies section, you'll see where you can specify what cookies to keep.

Strange that it would do that because it is listed as FREEWARE Can't recall if that happened to me or not; however, how about this... when it lists all that needs fixing, select only 50 and fix them...then re-run it, select the next 50 and fix them...and so on...and so on...

After you've removed this "crap" and your PC seems to be working "ok"... get ccleaner and do a registry cleanup coz there will be a lot of invalid registy entries that will affect your PC's performance as well. http://www.ccleaner.com/

common sense... all good info... my garage door is not sealed and has a bit of a gap at the bottom coz the thing is not straight with the floor. The back door fits like a circle in a square so there's fresh air available from both ends. Wouldn't be this way if it were my house but we're "renters" ...

Jack... I know my wife is happy but based on the title of your thread, I think I will get her some Highway Pegs for xmas just to be certain! (dunno zacktly what she's gonna do with them....) LOL (maybe bop me over the head) Just joking of course.... from your pics I'd say you did a pretty "skookum" job there!

yeh... I looked there and saw that already..thanks. Got to find one up here or get one off eBay coz I'd like to have one. Other question I had was do you need to have either fresh air source or ventilation? Thinking about carbon minoxide or lack of oxygen issues if used inside an enclosed space such as a single car garage.
