  1. Several years ago I rented a shop and started up an auto body repair and painting biz. The building was an old shop on a farm. The farmer helped me to hook up a bunch of fluorescence lights and he never turned off the power. Told me "as long as you're only touching ONE wire, you're fine". A few years later I was doing a kitchen remodel job and needed more electrical lines with breakers including 110 and 220 but there was no room on the existing panel so ... I "hot wired" another panel box with 220 by only handling one wire at a time!! I'm still here albeit a little "wired and frazzled" at times LOL!
  2. I can't say if it will or not on that computer. You should compare your hardware specs to those recommended for Win10. Also, I think there is a utility from Microsoft that you can run that will analyze your hardware to determine if it is up-to-snuff for Win10. The software you have installed should be fine. You probably lost your passwords because you let ccleaner clean out your cookies.
  3. ummmmmm ... aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... nope, not gonna say it!!!
  4. You could probably eat it more often if'n you didn't use it all up on your truck!
  5. I heard that you get better results when you mix it with a little saliva after first applying the PB. Licking with tongue apparently is the preferred method to apply the saliva...... [that's what I 'heard'] .... [maybe it was during a silly dream...]
  6. I wonder why so many say we should bleed the brake lines so often on a motorcycle yet it never seems to come up as a "thing to do" on a cage? What's different?
  7. I agree with Don. We use Open Office on all our agent's workstations. It does pretty much everything you can do with Microsoft Office.
  8. We used a Thule bag https://www.thule.com/en-us/ca/products/carriers-and-racks/boxes-and-baskets/cargo-bags Got it for $50 brand new off Craigslist.
  9. THAT is a look that's gonna melt a lot of boys hearts!!
  10. Now that could cause a lot of distracted driving me thinks LOL
  11. cowpuc, friesman, Freebird (it said I needed at least 3 characters to post)
  12. Millie, at 5 months old, still has a lot of 'puppy inattentiveness' in her; however, she is a quick learner and is progressing very well.
  13. Yup, she should, she repeats it often enough ....
  14. mine is a$$hole ... it's easy to remember coz I get called that a lot
  15. That's strange... I've been using it since it first came out as MyIE2 back in the late 90's. Only time I had any issue is when they first released the version that syncs to the cloud. I don't use that feature any more and it works fine.
  16. That's a great idea Goose but wouldn't work for me coz my better half is almost always sitting in that spot LOL. We are planning to get a trunk rack mounted dog carrier such as this ---> Kuryakyn Pet Palace Our dog Millie won't get much over 12 Lbs so it should work well.
  17. Regarding Edge... I didn't care for it's interface or the way it worked. I still use Maxthon even in Win10. Chromium... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_(web_browser) https://www.chromium.org/Home

  19. I had the same problem with my scanner... had to go find drivers for it. FWIW, a great little scanner app is VueScan ... https://www.hamrick.com/
  20. Have you tried running the MS app in compatibility mode?
  21. Strange you're having issues with FoxIT. I use it a lot in Win10 without issues. And to have an MS app crash in an MS OS ... weird! FWIW, I would disable both Edge and Cortana if I were you. (that's one of the first things I did on mine) There's lot's of info on the net on how.
  22. Appears to only be on facebook although 'Breed of Speed' does have a bunch on youtube but I couldn't find this one. Maybe it's time to toss pista shista Vista ...
  23. My take on it is this.... A) The biker(s) trying to chase down and block/stop the cage driver after he bolted past them is extremely dangerous, even more so since the cage driver is obviously agitated and aggressive. B) This was a police escorted Veteran's ride and all lanes are 'reserved' for the riders. Cagers are not allowed to share the space. C) That cager was already trying to take over a lane already occupied by at least two bikers. He was totally in the wrong right there.
  24. What I use at work is a commercial/server copy of Acronis ... you can create a bootable CD with it and from that you can create an Image of your hard drive and store it elsewhere, such as on another hard drive. I don't know of anything that's free that you can do this with but no doubt there's something out there. An Image is exactly that and with it you can completely restore your system to the state it was in when you took the Image including all software, files, folders, and the OS. With our version of Acronis you can even restore an image to dissimilar hardware. If you can't find anything, use Win7's backup utility and make a full backup of your C: drive onto one of your other drives that has the most room.
