  1. Here's a few pics of some of the scoots at Azzkikkerz .... plus a Lotus, and me on the one I tested out! It rode pretty good; however, going around corners was a little weird but by the time I got back to the lot, I was able to do a complete "tight" 360 while keeping my feet on the pegs and not falling over LOL The little Red one with the flames is a product they import from China... has a 300cc engine and cruises @120km/h .. sells for $5700 +/-
  2. Not 100% certain about this but if you have MS Excel, you may have to download a Works convertor in order to open that file. Unless of course cbmel can save it as an Excel file? Frankly, I'd dump Works and use OpenOffice instead.
  3. I dunno if expecting a return on investment thru rental revenue is a realistic thing ... wouldn't one use the rental revenue to cover the mortgage, taxes, and upkeep and the long-term equity would become the return on investment -OR- a minimal return would be realized on the rental combined to the that of the equity you'd realize in, say, 10 years if you sold the place. Now, I know absolutely nothing about this... just a wild guesstimate.
  4. ps... when you remove the fuel line from the petcock, hold a rag under it and drain the excess gas (not a lot) from the line....also prevents getting gas all over whatevah. Also, don't be smokin nuffin when yer doing this .... no, it ain't a voice of experience...just common sense LOL
  5. FYI (for those who haven't attempted this) ... removing the tank is very easy. Turn off the fuel petcock, remove the fuel line, unscrew and remove the plastic tank cover, remove the seat, un-screw the rear bolt, remove the plastic side covers at the front of the tank, un-screw the 2 side screws, un-hook the wire connector at the top, and pull it off. (I might have missed a step...repeating all this from memory since I've had mine off appx 1/2 dozen times or so)
  6. I'll try and get some pics .... we had a "hat day" at work the other day and Nina found me a black beard so I donned it, my "beanie" helmet and glasses ... everyone got a good laff... maybe I should wear that to the demo .... I'll probably fit in better LMAO!!

  8. yep, diffrn't strokes .... I like my XM ... lots of different channels to go to that will suit a person's mood and I also use it in the house and my truck... one subscription, 3 different places.

  10. Some swear by FireFox but frankly, almost everytime someone is having a problem with a browser, it's seems to be with fireFox ... I don't get it. I refuse to use firefox for that simple reason. I have been using Maxthon for as many years as it has been out (maybe 10?) and I have NEVER had a problem with it....ever. I've also installed it on numerous other computers and nobody has yet to have a problem with it...FireFox isn't even compatible with all websites or specialized web-based applications so why do folks seem to think FireFox is so great is totally beyond me. Maxthon uses the IE engine and has many features not included in IE. Sorry I can't offer assistance even though I am a tech but I just don't support FireFox. Sorry for ranting ;-)
  11. I dunno about "hydraulic" but I'm somewhat of an "electric" personality....
  12. here's an interesting tidbit of info... http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm here's another... http://www.ntnoa.org/enginebreakin.htm I shoulda read both before I shot my mouth off above LOL
  13. uhhhhhhh... did they supply the password.... :rotf:
  14. IMHO ... take it easy as the manual says until after that first, critical oil change. Then start opening it up but don't take it to the rev limiter.... vary the rpm's. After the second oil change... crank it on ... you can't hurt it much and "babying" it is worse than anything. Further, lugging it ain't a good idea either... keep those revvs up...that's what these engines like. just my somewhat educated/uneducated opinion.
  15. you can use this site to generate a secure password... http://www.pctools.com/guides/password/
  16. well... ok... so I don't do it EVERY DAY ....
  17. ahem!!! ... I haven't read this entire thread but ... should we be publicly talking about all the stuff on our YAMAHA's that come loose and/or fall off??? I mean, isn't that an exclusive thing to HARLEY's? We don't want this leaking out to the public now do we? :rotf:
