  1. well now ... guess I have no choice in the matter any more ... ummm ... can I put a reserve on it? Since you saw it last, I've added a few more "farkles" and safety chrome. Good idea Dale and thanks for starting the bid!
  2. I think I'll skip the pills and have a toke instead ... now where did I put my medical marijuana card ...
  3. dang... good thinkin there bob ... guess I'm hooped no matter which way I go ... might as well stop livin all together eh?
  4. Well, maybe old age is catching up on me cause nowadays I think of such things whereas in years gone by, I never gave it a thought. The main thing I was concerned about is if something happened to the Vic it would affect my ability to sell it. "something" meaning anything ... got stolen ... a car backed into it while parked ... the tire cap of a passing truck hit it while it's on the trailer ... a rock flew up from my truck's tire and smashed the fairing... etc etc Thanks a bunch for the feedback ... y'all ROCK!
  5. YUP!! I didn't mention that "component" but I was sure thinkin it! LOLOL (j/k)
  6. I wouldn't say I'm "that worried" ... just weighing one scenario against the other. But, y'all are right ... "happy wife... happy life" is the rule to follow! Takin the Vic! Thanks for y'all tellin me what I already knew but didn't know it LOL
  7. I have 2 bikes ... My Victory which is licensed and insured and comfortable for Nina as a passenger. ( a very important thing!) My Road Star which is not licensed and not comfortable for her. We are trailering one of these bikes to Kruisn Kootenays rally July 7th I can put a permit on the Road Star which will provide full insurance coverage for the few days we'll use it up there at a very reasonable price. The Victory is up for sale In the event of an accident either while we're hauling it or during a ride, whichever bike I take could be totaled. If it's the Victory, then I'm out a sellable bike but would get whatever the insurance would pay me. (probably not as much as I could sell it for) If it's the Road Star, same thing except when I sell the Victory, I'd then have to take whatever insurance money I got for the Road Star and buy another bike. Would probably have to add money out of pocket too. So, my dilemma is .... which bike should we take?????????
  8. You're right on the mark! I work downtown Vancouver and the other day I was walking down the street on my lunch break and noticed a beautiful white exotic sports car had just parked at the curb. I stopped to take a better look and out of the passenger side comes a young Asian girl (maybe 20) so I think "hmmmm wonder who's driving" and then a young Asian male (also maybe 20) gets out of the driver side.... Now, there's only a couple ways a kid that young can get a car like that... a) his parents bought it for him, b) He's into dealing drugs or some other criminal activity ... (or both) This city has an unbelievable high rate of foreign investment and particularly in real estate. They buy up properties like crazy and leave them unoccupied or they send their kids over to live in them and play. They buy them expensive cars, give them all the money they want, and set them up with some business that is a front for other kinds of dealings. Heck, they even get their driver's license bought for them somehow. On any given day you'll see more exotic sports cars, luxury cars, high end SUV's and tricked out domestic sports cars than pretty much anywhere else. Here's a pic of the car I was referring to.... (from the Ferrari website)
  9. That would be appreciated as I'm looking for a trunk for my Road Star and that one is quite different from what I've found so far.
  10. On another interesting note, my wife has had breathing problems most of her life. She was always under the impression it was from allergies. She tried my Otrivin and that did help her but not enough. Her problem affected not just her breathing but also her ability to speak in that she would often have to clear her throat before speaking and she would get terrible sneezing attacks. She went to a doctor and had all kinds of allergy and other tests done and discovered it was all caused by some form of acid reflux. She got some meds for that and it's almost cleared up. She rarely has the sneezing attacks, seldom has to clear her throat, can breath much better .... hhmmmmmmm now I just wonder ... could this also be my problem??? Maybe I'll try some of her meds (without her knowing coz she's a real stickler about such things)
  11. I've been using Otrivin for appx 35 years. I've tried others ... either they didn't work or they worked too much and gave me nose bleeds. I started because since I was in my teens I started having problems breathing through my nose. Seen a couple doctors about it in my late 20's and early 30's and they said there was nothing wrong ... that I just had a cold. B/S! Then I heard about Otrivin and tried it ... almost instantly I could breathe and I then learned how to walk around without my mouth open LOL. Research will tell you all kinds of negatives. But there is positives. I live in a high humidity, high allergens climate and Otrivin is the only thing that helps me breathe. After 35 years of using it, I use less of it now than I did 10 years ago. I might snort it 3 - 5 times in a day compared to as much as twice that back then. After that length of time I really don't care what the research negatives tell ya ... it works for me and I don't intend on stopping using it. I tried a few times and I just went back to not being able to breathe properly. I snort it once when I wake up (if I'm plugged up which isn't all the time) and once before I go to bed and maybe 1 or 3 times during the day depending on need. Use it or not ... it's a personal choice and this is not advice to anyone, just my experience.
  12. He did a hit and run on a parked car and is now trying to hide .... http://dailyhive.com/vancouver/porsche-gets-trashed-vancouver-video
  13. SAWWWEEEET!!! Nice looking scoot! Is that trunk aftermarket ?? If so, who makes it? What all takes place in that big square display on the dash?
  14. haha... and I'm still celebrating from splitting with my ex ... and toasting my good fortune to have found my current!
  15. This not only applies to WD40 ... danged near every cleaner brand, soap brand, hair care brand, skin cream brand, etc, etc you name it brand starts off with one product that's a "do-it-all" ... and by and by they come out with products specific to application and do away with the "do-it-all" product. It's all a master scheme to get your money and sell more "crap" that in many cases, isn't even necessary. And the ones that really "irk" me are the "new and improved" ... or "2 times more powerful" ... or "6 times better" ... it's all a gimmick IMHO.
  16.
  17. a guy with a helicopter could whisk that away easy ....
  18. The first one but the part that fits into the head of the allen bolt is slotted and expands.contracts on the one's at the Harley shop. They have different sizes also.
  19. @Freebird One thing I added to my Midnight as well as my Vic are little chrome allen screw caps. They hide that "allen key" hole and just dress those up nice. I get them at the Harley shop. Now these will cost ya big time!
  20. I left this one alone for a while coz at the time, I didn't have an extra nipple ... but now that some time has passed, one of my nipples has come available ....

  22. You just talk too much bro ...
  23. My bad, I forgot the RSV uses only one bulb since both my Vic and previous Wing use 2.
