Never had mice or rabbits around when I've had a dog but whenever I had a cat, I almost always had mice around ... albeit they were half eaten and lying on my doorstep ... :rotf:

I really have to apologize.... a guy asks a legitimate question with the anticipation of receiving a responsible and informative response and a guy like me comes along with a ridiculous offering.... geeeesh, I really need to get out for a ride! I would suspect what your father-in-law said would be the way to do it.

1st an 2nd Genaration tell the different??
SilvrT replied to ronjolly's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I think we need an actual forum named "Generation Bashing" so that when someone see's the opportunity to turn a decent thread into a 1st/2nd gen bashing, they can go there and allow this thread to stick to the topic. Oh wait..... that would be no fun at all then, would it?? :rotf: -
Over the winter I had reported that what I thought was a dealer installed I-basket (last July) actually was a G-basket. I complained to the dealer and eventually got an I-basket which eliminated almost all of the whine. A few of you commented that you were thinking about pulling your clutch basket to verify whether or not you do or don't have an I-basket (when you felt that you do). Just wondering if anyone has followed through and what was discovered?

Check this link http://www.venturerider.org/modules/history/index.php 1st gen is 83-93 (made up of MK I 83-85 and MK II 86-93) 2nd gen is 96-2010 (acutally 99-2010 but I included the "Tour" model which I think started in 96 ??) -

OK, I've read the original thread on this as well as all the posts here .... I can't understand what y'all are talking about. I've never experienced this issue about air escaping and bubbling gas out and have not had a problem filling the tank to the top... am I missing something? I will say that when I do fill up, I run the gas in slowly once it gets close to the top...maybe that's the difference? Oh yeah... I just remembered...you guys in the US have very different gas pump nozzles than we do up here and I now recall it was always a PITA using them.

Wayne Gretsky was the person who lit the cauldron! Nina & I watched the whole thing on TV and thought it was absolutely amazing! One of the greatest parts of it all was that the 1st nations were a big part of it. Awesome job...make me proud to be a Canuck! :thumbsup2:
