Heading home from Venture West in Yreka I left around 7AM on Saturday morning. My plan was to take 3 days to get back home, going by route 101 on the coast. I stopped for the first night in Florence, OR. Left there next morning and headed inland with intentions of ending up in Astoria for the second night. Got screwed up with my route and wound up in Portland. Turned around and made my way to Astoria but it was still early so kept on going with plan to stop somewhere overnight ... ended up in Olympia on I-5 so said "to heck with it", had a bite to eat and hit the freeway. That day ended up 17 hours by the time I walked in my door that evening.

ya but .... just like deer, when hunting season opens, they disappear LOL

Some of these "emails" appear very legit and it's surprising how many folks fall for it.

NETFLIX Scam ... folks, this appears to be a new scam to get your CC info so DON'T fall for it. You'll get an email from what appears to be Netflix with subject "Action Required". In the body it says "We were unable to process your last payment. Please update your billing details to continue enjoying. To quickly resolve this issue, click: Log in to Netflix then you will be prompted to update your information. "That trunk looks too much like an after-thought." On a Road Star, it is an "after thought" LOL What you see in the pic is not the completed version. Here's a more recent version... "who cares what I think, right?" I care very deeply about what you think ................... N O T !!

here's the 'skinny' on white.... If you are painting then white is made with no colors, if you are talking about combining different color lights then it is Red+Green+Blue to make white light.

If that's true then I'm young, fit, and muscular .......

If white is the combination of all colors ... why then is it that when the paint store mixes up a can of house paint they start with a can of white base...??? :scratchchin:

As I've said a number of times.... "I'm glad I'm on the way out instead of on the way in" This world has seen so many changes over the past 50 years in comparison to the 50 before that. It's beyond imagination what the next 50 will bring but like you said "the direction this country is going", add to that "this world" ... it's friggin scary to say the least!

When I read the title, I thought for sure you tried to install Windows 10 and that's what caused it .....

I do too but I know where they all are ... SOMEWHERE in my shed, or in the bike, or in the house .....

At least some folks are fortunate enuf to have a shop big enuf to put a motorcycle in (plus tools, workbench, etc). I have a 12 x 14 shed and with all my "junk" there's no way I could get my bike in there. I do miss the garage we had at the last place we lived but at least where we are now, we own it (instead of renting).

So I get this notice in the mail yesterday from the post office saying it's a final notice to pick up my parcel (which I already picked up). It has a phone number to call so I call it. An automated message is played back to me... "please leave a message after the tone" ... the tone chimes and then it says "we're sorry, the mail box is full ... please try again later" DOH!

Dang .... it just struck me .... this could be deemed "political" ... so go ahead .... dump it.

Is that assuming we don't fall under the classification of "people" ??? :rotfl:

Read an article in today's newspaper where a TV news anchor got herself in hot water over her choice of words. She was talking about "recent criticism" for casting white actors "in what one might assume should be a role reserved for colored people". It was the reference to "colored people" ... well, apparently you can't use that as it's deemed as a racial slur. Instead, you must now use "people of color" .... DOH!!

Nina & I almost always leave our helmets either sitting on the seat or hanging from the bars when we stop for a bite to eat or whatever. She occasionally says "are you sure they'll be safe like that?" ... so far they have been but just like a speeding ticket, sooner or later I'll get stung I keep thinking! Other than that, guess I've also been lucky. Hope that never runs out and whoever does try to rip me off best be hoping I never catch them.
