    first aid CPR

A hieny lick will do it every time ! All kidding aside, thanks to the OP for posting. Makes a guy think .... I took some 1st aid training about 35 years ago so mebbe it's about time I got a refresher. I have; however, had to assist at an accident scene once as I was the 1st one there... somehow I seemed to know what to do .... but it wasn't a life-threatening thing thankfully.

    Whoopee!

Maybe that's why I don't feel the need to add chrome to the Wing .... it's too fast now!
  5. heh ... I wish! I was in the middle of editing my post when it went bye-bye... had the whole thread alive on my screen ...

    Whoopee!

I have to chuckle at this... when I had my '06 RSMV ... I wanted MORE CHROME ... more shiney stuff .... I was always adding something or thinking of what more I could add.... with the Wing, I just wanna RIDE!
  7. 1st gen.... 2nd gen .... blah blah blah ..... Let's all go to a Tupperware party at my house and I'll show ya who's best....
  8. Just as I was trying to calm the water with an edit LOL Oh well..............
  9. With temps like that Kerry, I might just move in with ya LOL We're planning a trip to the island on the Sep long weekend to visit my nephew. Will try and stop in for a visit with you and Janet. We'll have 4 or 5 days so should be able to work it in.
  10. And at one time, computers were a hobby to me .... and then I found I could make money at it and still play with my hobby.... that paying hobby lasted for over 20 years .... I'm tired of the hobby now... and I only do what I have to to maintain it as a job. Another couple years or so and I won't be doing it as a job anymore either.... (I hope!) Over those years, I spent many sleepless nights writing programming code, learning new software, fixing peoples computer issues, travelling to clients locations, writing training and technical documents, putting on training sessions, doing seminars,... the list goes on. 12 to 16 hour days 6 and 7 days a week, countless hours of study and practical application, technical books coming out the ying-yang, .... I should be rich for all the effort I put in ... just wasn't one of those "lucky ones". But I ain't complaining .... it's been a great ride but I'm sure anxious to park this "truck" for good LOL
  11. That's like 21 celcius .... you must have your outdoor heater running and the thermostat hanging near it! It's only 6 celcius here. Oh, wait a min.... you're dreaming that you're in Mexico ... or maybe you are..
  12. Guess I'm getting old or something .... I got a fairly new Android phone with al kinds of capabilities and reading what you guys have been posting ... sheeesh ... I have no desire to do much of any of that stuff. As long as I can talk on the phone, send a text, listen to music .... good enuf. Maybe it has something to do with having been in this computer support biz for so long, I am just tired of technology and my desire to learn new chit is almost non-existant.
  13. The absolute BEST app I have on my Android is .... P.H.O.N.E. and it came with the thing .... I really like it allot ... I can press a few numbers and it lets me talk LIVE to people!!! Imagine that!!! and, every once in a while, the thing plays a tune and that tells me someone wants to talk to me ... I am so glad that app is there!!
  14. You could own a GW or a Victory and say the same thing ...

  16. We'll be out again tomorrow and plan to take some scenery shots. The mountains with their snow covered peaks are amazing.
  17. Somebody is kidding themselves.

  19. heh ... around here, that would buy not much... maybe a bachelor or 1 bdrm townhouse but, some of the areas in the interior, it would buy a very nice place. In fact, I know of an area right now where the average price of a single family home runs around $115 G ... and it won't be long before that will drop drastically due to a disasterous sawmill explosion which, if not rebuilt, will pretty much turn the town into a ghost town. A very sad situation indeed and it is close to me in that I worked there on a contract for a while back in 2003/04.
  20. After being married for 40 years, I took a careful look at my wife oneday and said, "Forty years ago we had a cheap house, a junk car, slept on a sofa bedand watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep everynight with a hot 23-year-old girl. Now ... I have a $500,000.00 home, a $35,000.00 car, a nice big bedand a large screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 63-year-old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things." My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find ahot 23-year-old girl and she would make sure that I would once again be living in a cheap house, driving a junk car, sleeping on a sofa bedand watching a 10-inch black and white TV. Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve an old guy's problems.
  21. The only varmints I shoot these days are the ones in Red Dead Redemption (PS3 western game)
  22. Clearance is no difference ... but you'll marr the chrome cover or maybe even crack it. I had those risers on my bike and for the odd time I had to crank the steering that far, it was not a concern and the black cover flexes so, to me it was no big deal.
  23. There is a mixture screw on the carb hidden behind a plug that might need adjusting. You have to drill out the plug to get at it. I had to do this on my son's '03 Sporty and it cured the backfiring (mostly). I say mostly coz I don't think anyone can totally eliminate it from all operating conditions. If you do a google search on this I think you'll find some technical writeups about this and what to do. I didn't save the info I had.
  24. I know I'm getting old when I can no longer determine what age bracket younger wimmen are in and am surprised to find they are much older than I thought they were....
  25. I think I'll stay out of this one ...
