Precisely why I switched to a Wing... Wing riders are just smarter than all of ya!!
-
Well, since it happens on practically every other thread, let me start it .... "This eagle is smarter than any First Gen rider" ....
-
Actually, I think Translink should adopt this idea LOL!

All interesting replys; however, the sound is actually coming from a small coffee grinder that I was activating simultaneously with the squeezing of the clutch lever. ... and what day did I post this? APRIL FOOLS!!!

I cannot get it into neutral
SilvrT replied to ChurchBuilder's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
When I had my '85 I always had trouble getting it into neutral while it was running. What I would do is turn it off when in 1st, apply a little upward pressure on the shifter and then rock the bike forward/backward... voila` ... it would pop into neutral! -
I got this weird rattling sound when I pull in the clutch lever on my Wing.... Listen carefully. Ya, I know, it's a "whiner" but mostly only noticable when idling and apparently fairly normal for a Wing. But that rattling sound doesn't seem "normal" to me. Can anyone guess what it is?

Just be thankful you don't live here ... you wouldn't have a planned ride ... unless you really like riding in cold and rain .. At least I started my scoot today, just to pretend I was on a ride LOL

We picked up a 2007 Leesur-Lite from a guy in Spokane last summer for 3 bills. Has all the options except A/C. Screened awning; add-a-room; extra storage; wide tires, etc. We like it a lot. Very easy to set up. The RSV tows it ok but for me, I found it took a lot of "work" haulin it thru the mountains fully loaded. Could it be that that sidestand switch is poorly adjusted or the sidestand itself is somehow loose and activating the switch? Bad ground connection in the switch circuit somewhere?

I painted the Chrome gas cap with flat black, high heat paint. I simply cleaned it good with lacquer thinner, applied a coat of primer and then the flat black. It never chipped or peeled after 3 years. I'd toyed with the idea of painting part of the "cyclops ring" around the headlight. Here's a pic I "doctored" in Photopaint ... ... and here's one with everything blacked out

Sounds a little "one-sided" to me ...
