How do you get away with painting outdoors?? Don't you get a lot of dust particles, bugs, whatnot on the paint? Geeesh, I used to have a body/paint shop and even with an enclosed paint booth it was tricky sometimes to do a job without some frikken something finding it's way onto the paint somewhere. Sometimes nothing more than a little piece of fluff that fell off my body that I failed to blow off. Done a few small jobs in the open air and every time some danged little no-seeum or three found their way onto the wet paint. Guess I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to paint jobs LOL Lookin good from what I see in the pics tho... (color wise that is)

Never thought I'd ever do this again but I did. Haven't had good experiences over the years with "clubs" but I've ridden with this group a number of times and it seems to "fit" right. Anyone else in the Vancouver / Lower Mainland area that might be interested, check out this vid ... [ame= ] [/ame]

Why did the manufacturer of the computer mouse replace the roller ball type with the optic type? Because it's easier to clean a mouse's feet than it's balls!

The garage has a hidden area that is well camouflaged ..... LOL.. actually, we park on the street in front of the house so that the downstairs tenant can get in or out with her car to the parking spot at the side of the house. Considering you were "out of it" , you probably can't remember that Nina wasn't home at the time you arrived (she was out shopping and had the truck) LOL

Unfortunately, she froze... stiffened up ... braced herself for the impact .... and now she's stiff and sore in a lot of places. Not the best thing to do but how does one know if you haven't been "schooled" (so to speak). Thankfully it wasn't any worse. Don't know about the other two drivers but their vehicles sustained a considerable amount of damage ... I would think that one of them is a near write-off.

Nina (my wife) was stopped at an intersection, waiting for the light to turn green. She was heading West. It turned green. Before she had a chance to go, two vehicles collided in the intersection, one of which plowed into our truck. What happened is, a person travelling south was stopped at their green waiting to turn left. They were not out in the intersection but still at the crosswalk. The light changed and they proceeded to make the left turn. Totally illegal ... they should not have moved but rather, stayed at the crosswalk. At the same time, another driver was heading north failed to stop for the red light and plowed into the left turning vehicle. The impact caused one of the vehicles to careen into our truck... my wife... who had not even moved yet. Point being I guess is, sometimes there isn't a damned thing you can do to avoid being hit. So, y'all be careful out there at those interestions. http://gl1800riders.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=73085&stc=1

When you've stopped at a restaurant or a gas stop/pee break .... in other words, you've left your bike unattended to go inside a building for a period of time ... 10 min - 2 hours or so.... do you lock your helmet on the helmet lock, do you store it inside the trunk, do you take it in with you, do you leave it on the seat or hanging from the mirror or something?

If I won the lotto, I would first set my and Nina's kids up with a new house, new car(s), and a bank account that would pay them monthly for as long as I could. Then I'd take Nina and the kids on an extended holiday ... cruise with many stops. Then I'd have our dream home built and retire in it, doing some of the things I've always wanted to do but never had the money. Finally, I'd give as much as I could to various charities that are there to help the homeless and destitute people in our country.

Back in the spring I road tested a 2012 CCT. At the time the dealer had 2 - 2011s. According to the dealer, the 2011 was the last year of the 5 yr warranty. The 2012 only had a 3 year warranty. This also applies to the 2013. I also just called the local dealer and he verified that. Are you sure yours is a 2012?? -
