Never had a flu shot and never will and I rarely get sick. Occasionally get a cold or simply feel tired and weak but that happens maybe once or twice over a 2 or 3 year span. Now, there's a lot of rum circulating in my system so that may have something to do with it...

There I was sitting at the bar staring at my drink when a large, trouble-making biker steps up next to me, grabs my drink and gulps it down in one swig. "Well, whatcha' gonna do about it?" he says, menacingly, as I burst into tears. "Come on, man," the biker says, "I didn't think you'd CRY. I can`t stand to see a man crying." "This is the worst day of my life," I say. "I'm a complete failure. I was late to a meeting and my boss fired me. When I went to the parking lot, I found my car had been stolen and I don't have any insurance. I left my wallet in the cab I took home. I found my wife with another man and then my dog bit me." "So I came to this bar to work up the courage to put an end to it all, I buy a drink, I drop a capsule in and sit here watching the poison dissolve; then you show up and drink the whole bloody thing! But enough about me, how's your day going?

Once a week or so I pick her up and strum her for about an hour. ummm we are talking guitars here aren't we? Haven't really advanced much ... kinda stuck on about 3 or 4 "tunes" that I've somehow put together on my own using 3 or 4 chords. One is a variance of Horse with no name. The other a variance of House of the rising sun. Then there's a couple others that don't resemble anything although one started out as Marguritaville.

In my house there's no contest coz her panties are bigger than mine !

FWIW, the only info you can find out about me on Facebook is my name, the city I live in, and who I'm married to. You can find out more about me on Canada 411 than you can on Facebook.

While there were many good things during 2012, it was probably one of the toughest, most stressful, costly years of my life (unfortunately). In Feb I received a notice from Family Maintenance Enforcement stating that I owed almost 50 grand in spousal support arrears to my ex wife and that I had to commence paying her 500/mo PLUS the arrears. That started a court action to cancel the arrears and support which took until end of July and 5 grand in lawyers fees even though I did most of the "grunt work" myself. The end result was in my favor although I still had to fork out 6 grand to her. In January, my wife's mom's health started going downhill and by late March she passed away. The stresses and expenses around that, coupled with the court battle weighed heavilly on both my wife and myself. I was able to keep it together but my wife had to take stress leave from work. Thankfully she is ok now and back to work and we've just recently recovered financially and things are back on track; however, it certainly took a large chunk out of our retirement savings. As for the good things of 2012.... I learned that life can present many unexpected challenges and the best way to overcome them is to be strong and stand for what you believe in and to take care of yourself and not let anyone take advantage of you. My wife and I have a much stronger and closer relationship than ever before as a result of the challenges we faced during 2012. I learned to not take anything for granted ever again and to protect yourself from those who can hurt you the most. As for m/c related stuff, it was a good year. We hosted an annual rally, did several "local" rides ... some just the two of us, some with others, and finally joined a local club consisting of a variety of individuals and bikes (something I swore I'd never do again). To say the least, 2012 has been an "interesting" year and we look forward to 2013 and are hopefully prepared for whatever challenges it may bring. Considering what some of you have gone through in 2012, I should feel happy I wasn't in your shoes as some of you have faced much more difficulties than we have. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL and I hope for a great 2013 for everyone!

Finally got all my lights hooked up and the front end of the bike back together. Changes include HID low beams, "blacked out" headlight pods, and smoke signal lenses. Painted the signal light pods black. Also added new lower cowl driving lamps. Third pic shows the left signal ON. All shots were taken in daylight inside my shop. Just to clarify... that wiring schematic I posted is one I created based on how I wired mine.
-
The only difference (from what I can see) with the timed-delay relay and a regular 5-pin relay is that it has a 10 second delay before it transmits the power. When I was hooking it up, I was first using 87a & 30 but 87a is live when power is supplied. It flips over to 87 after 10 seconds so that's why you connect to 87. For the price of them (a few bucks more than a regular relay) I figured it worth it to get one and try it.

That's where I got my HID kit; however, just a "word to the wise". The kits are advertised as "Plug-and-Play" but such is not necessarilly the case I found. This may only be applicable to a Wing though. The Wing (at least my model) uses an H4 Wiring to H7 bulb adapter. Some of these HID kits include the adapter for the HID bulb, others don't. The stock Wing adapter won't work with the HID's. CCC's kit does not include them and they weren't even aware of it. I had to fabricate my own adapter to adapt the H4 stock wiring plug to the H7 HID bulbs. I should mention that the adapter doubles as a spacer and this is really what was necessary for the HID's to fit properly.

In other words.... CANADA ! If I remember correctly, these kids won some kind of contest or something like that. Amazing job they did ... all video graphics. FWIW, Canucks are leading the world when it comes to such things.... some of the best video games out there are produced right here in Vancouver (Burnaby actually).

guys, keep yer wimmen far away from this guy!!! LOL

As an alternative to an On-Off switch, you might want to consider this relay. I hooked one up on my Wing for my HID's and it's great. Prevents the HID's from coming on for at least 10 seconds from the time I turn the key on which gives me time to start the bike. http://retro-solutions.net/product-info.php?HID_Time_Delay_Relay-pid602.html Here's the wiring diagram. FWIW and personally I don't care but just so y'all know, HID conversion kits are illegal when installed into headlight pods not specifically designed for them. But, like I said, I don't give a crap about legalities when it comes to that kind of lighting. http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/bulbs/Hid/conversions/conversions.html

Heck, I looked all over my garage for a sandwich bag with various screws and "push-pins", only to find it right under my nose, taped to the part the screws, etc belonged to... LOL! -

The reason we men don't "get it" is because we make the mistake of ASSuming they use LOGIC (which of course they don't) therefore, it is IMPOSSIBLE for us to understand them.
