Sealed meaning the cap is on?... yes. Funny, a different forum and I get opposite answers ... 6 posts on the Wing forum and they all say trash it and get new stuff LOL One even went to say a lot has changed in formula.chemistry over past 15 yrs... better to get new. I guess if you're a "Winger", nothing but the best will do eh? (I wonder if this is an attitude thing?).

Is there such a thing as shelf-life for gear oil? I've had this 1 qt jug of this stuff since about 1998. Have used it in my last 3 bikes no problem ... is it still good or should I buy new?

Man, you were lucky but what a dissapointment! I've told this one before but I laff at myself every time I think about it so here goes again... When I bought my 2006 RSMV (it was used with only 1297 kilometers on it) and got it home, the first thing I did was an oil change. Danged filter was so tight I couldn't get it off no how so ... I drilled a big hole in it and inserted a prybar which broke it loose. Keep in mind that I've already drained the oil into a pan which is underneath the bike. Got the filter off, put a new one on, filled up the oil and went about inspecting this and that, polishing here and there, etc .... then I decided to empty the drain pan. When I drained all the oil out of the pan, to my HORROR I found some metal shavings in the bottom. I FREAKED!!! Began to think something internal was screwed and I'd bought a POS. Really!! ... I panicked ... began to shake, sweat coming off my brow, mind racing .... and then ... POW!!! It hit me ... out came a few cuss words, I looked around to make sure nobody saw my stupidity ... and then I started laffing ... OMG!! it was the metal filings from drilling the oil filter!!! :doh:

Like the old saying goes... "when it rains, it pours". I've had a few times when I've been unemployed and there have been those times when no matter how many applications get mailed out or interviews are attended..... NOTHING! .... and then all of a sudden, two or three offers come in and then it's "dilemma" time. Somehow manage to make the right choice tho.

The "combined" card is not mandatory. An individual can elect to have separate cards. There is no "extra" charge for this. When you renew your D/L, you only pay what that normally would cost. FWIW, I work in a business that is at the forefront of this kind of information. We get the info long before "Joe Public" gets it. -

Kevin, it might be worth explaining what the Enhanced version is for (so that those non-BCers and in particular, the boys down south know) I think it's just a BC gov money grab myself LOL -

My daughter and her b/f who is an ozzie are both over there.... they are in Noosaville Queensland. She hasn't been mentioning the fires so I figgure they are ok there.
