    dont know what is unbelievable..only 37 months yes..i lost a friend last year riding in brownsville tx..hit by 70 something lady ' adjusting ' her seat cushion ..killed two riders..no jail yet..sentnce for killing us riders is never strong enough

    when i did my swap from 07 roadstar with 14 mm mc..they came with lines..i noticed same angle and swapped out the lower lines from roadstar back to splitter..was going to go ss but have not found the need...yet

    1 st gens dont have screw in bar end weights like 2 nd gen?..

    i have that type on my 08 for 4 years..no problems ..got the hi-low rocker style switch....symtec heat demon .draws3 amp....use existing grips so not bulky like oxfords

    thanks for the offer..plans are coming together..booked 1 week at wyndham kingsgate with home away ...planned rides...to appamattox.to virginia beach..kitty hawk..nickle and dime run...wasington dc for a day or on way back...home by ocean city ...and others still working on..will be 2 couples GW and Venture..anyone has bad things re wyndham would be glad to hear about..thanks Les

    thanks for info..have rearranged route to use rt 5 ..just planned short day trip from wmsbg to tappahanock to burgess to hartfield to gloucester to wmsbg...roads ok in that area?...i will be asking you for info on roads in this area if its ok..we are planning on a vrbo rental at wyndham patriot place..good area?..thanks ..les

    mistake..going down via skyline then backhome through up to washington then PA then gettysburg overnight..rochester overnight.then ontario on monday...BUT as things evolve so do changes..just thinking ahead..but not too many plans still want it to be free..would there be problems in DC with leaving bikes ?to see white house etc

    219 was on plan..great road did 2012 coming back from gatlinburg..have now planned to go to washington as a day visit before stopping around gettysburg...about 51/2 hr ride...any problems re accomodation near gettysburg?

    route 13 and 113 and 1 at ocean city north on way home..thanks..will go up by finger lakes then back to ontario.plan to ride 40 to appomattox then 460 back to williamsburg

    Thanks to those members who helped us plan last years trip to kentucky...This year plan to ride to williamsburg VA. via skyline dr..plan to spend 7 days in this area then home via coastal route...any ideas about roads to ride in this area or to avoid...williamsburg may not be final resting place.we book thru homeaway for 1 week..think will go to virginia beach ,civil war sites,..any suggestions would be much appreciated...thanks Les

    I work at a suzuki and yamaha dealer...1... brand new gxr 1000.. dropped it on the parking pad outside front door spun around .hit wall..write off..2 ....brand new fz09... 1st bike..beginner licence...stuffed under suv at parking lot entrance.....paid for repairs himself....$$$$$.... natures way

    another canadian getting screwed...45 years riding .no accidents .no tickets..recreation use ...went up $91 this year to 1010$...$868 US...would love to have access to US companies..and we have a shorter riding season than a lot of states.

    used these with oem bar and buckets.just had to cut around the rim to fit inside with dremel cut off bracket mount..nice tight fit..very bright

    swann freestyle 1080 p..$126 on ebay..bought one this year for trip to kentucky..has remote ..mounted mine to ram mount on bars or clutch reservoir...quality seems as good as gopro..but way cheaper..

    Last year did trip to gatlinburg..1 overnight stop in Findlay Ohio..next day back way down through Cumberland gap...once you are there there is lots to do with short trips....this year..Kentucky again one overnight stop in Ohio..short day trips again..lake Cumberland region....Poconos is good area..short trips around area are great..Jim Thorpe..just got back from finger lakes..4 days 1100 km..no long days could spend more time there...go to hotel coupons.com for discounts...walk in deals are better than internet booking..

    Have you noticed any radio interference on the FM band?... I had to put rfi ferrite snaps on leads to reduce FM interference..still have cb interference with h.I.d. headlight
