  1. Since the speedo is slow by about 9% we could use a tall tire, but then I suppose we dont have the room for them?
  2. No, the speedo is taken off the rear.
  3. Road Toads by Frogg Toggs.
  4. Me too! I'll be glad to ship to the next person...and make no copies, of course.
  5. I've been mostly watching from a distance, but what is the preferred c/t for our 2nd gens? I've been seeing that the softer the tire the better.
  6. My experience as well. I'm sure the Venom's are good too, but I've had excellent service from the E3's and smaller front.
  7. On your way there go thru Lynchburg, TN and tour Jack Daniels. I don't drink and it was still very interesting. You must ride the Cherohala Skyway; better than the dragon for scenery, and its on the way. (include the Fontana Dam loop from Robbinsville. Any part of the Blue Ridge Parkway, especially the stretch from Soco? gap to Balsam Gap All:photographing:
  8. Got mine in eight days! Couldn't believe how quick it was here. Great company!
  9. That is sexier than socks on a toad! Full write up on installing and corresponding pics will be posted when???

  11. I replaced my rear with 15K on it, the front will last another 5K. I replace mine with plenty left too. Not trading my or my wife's life for a 1/8 inch of rubber.
  12. Sixty two today in Mid-MO. Had to be close to that in Van Buren!
  13. I have my second set of E3s on mine (130 on front). I noticed the bike as being much easier to handle and I did not notice the growl to mentioned. I'm very happy with them and will continue to use them.
  14. Glad you got a job. At least getting home will be really special for you and your family.
  15. I just used them as is. Look good to me.
  16. Its here somewhere...I'll look for it! Ok here it is http://www.venturers.org/Tech_Library/index.php?action=article&cat_id=002014&id=326 This is another site I sometimes frequent.
  17. Since I change my own tires I can tell you that cleaning the rim takes about 3 paper towels and 30 seconds. All the "stuff" is on the tire. Very, very little is on the rims don't worry about the mess, there is very little!
  18. Do you have Streets and trips? If so I can email you some really great routes.
  19. That's the ride I spoke of. Its terrific! On our way back we may come up through Pagosa to Creede and then Lake City. Its a beautiful place. that's why I asked. I know several rides, but didn't want to miss a hidden gem. Thanks for the reply.
  20. I'm thinking late August. I've been in June and its COLD in the Passes and still a lot of snow. September is the same, so we decided to do late August a little cooler that July across KS and early enough not to get snowed on in the passes. I once got snowed on on Independence Pass. Not fun, especially pulling a trailer!
  21. I do my own tires and once blanaced I put Ride-On in. I'm told the Ride-On will balance a slightly out of balance tire as well.
  22. I've been out to Colorado several times and a few buddies and I are planning a trip this year. So far I've planned for the Ouray-Durango-Teleuride loop. The Black Canyon of the Gunnison loop (my personal favorite ride, maybe better than the Dragon!) and the Rocky Mtn National Park-Nederland-Blackhawk route. If we have time I'd like to do the Ridgeway-Gateway-Grand Junction ride. Does anyone have a favorite hidden route that is a don't miss? I've got several in Southern MO that people have no idea about that are terrific, so I'm sure there are some that I need to know in CO. Always looking for new pics!
  23. Suweeeeet!
  24. Speaking for the police of the world...They will enjoy finding this guy and making sure he's brought to justice! Get well soon.
