Rick, there is a right up from freebird on 2 -10, I used the process and it worked great. I did however make one mod on the temp gauge. I did not use the brass piece that screws into the plug fouler, I drilled the plug fouler and used it.
Thanks for all the replies.
Looks like your all right!!
i fired the bike up today and cold start the gauge reads 30 to 40 so when it warms up it drops.
Good to know.
Also I did notice the water temp i figured if it hasn't got to 250 and no lights on I am all right..
Just finished installing my oil pressure gauge. worked fine and then I noticed the reading dropped to almost nothing.
First installed was around 40 to 50, I was riding back home and at full speed on the interstate it was reading 20.
Any ideas what could have cause this to happen.
It looks like everything is tight and i have noticed a leak.
Thanks
Thanks for all the replies!!
Mine is around 210 -215 in the Texas heat.
Also i used th write up by Freebird but I used the spark plug fouler instead of the brass fitting from lowes. Had to drill the opening bigger but it worked great.
Can someone who has gauges installed tell me what the normal operating Water Temperature should be?
I just installed and would like to know what is out of range
Thanks
