Hi All, A 4 hour ride last week reinforced the need for a new seat on my 2nd gen. Actually I can still feel it. So, if anyone has a pillow top seat or a Rick Butler seat, please let me know. I am very willing to buy it. I communicated with Rick a few days ago but if I found another seat to send down, I don't think anything will happen until the end of June. So I thought I'd reach out. If you have a Pillow Top seat or a Rick Butler mod seat that you are willing to part with, please let me know. And yes, I should have done this last fall. Go figure... Thanks, Tom

On my 2nd gen, I'm on my 2nd clear-viewshield. 1st was my fault. Second has 2 cracks from stones. I have drilled out and the cracks are not in my line of sight so I am going with it. And FYI, don't use lock-tight anywhere near your plastic or shield. Been there, done that.

I like the design and all the bells and whistles but air cooled? My wife and I just made a trip to Vancouver BC with a trailer and we were stuck in the mother of all traffic jams on the #1 highway. Very hot, constantly clutching 5 to 10 feet at a time for hours. Couldn't shut the bike off. Yes, I got the heat from the fan but can't imagine surviving the traffic jam on an air cooled v twin. Waiting to hear stories of how this bike is in city traffic.

Something out west in July or early August would work for us. Were planing to do Castlegar last summer but had a family situation.
