    Hi everyone I am looking for a right side front crash bar that the highway peg mounts onto . my bike is a 2004 yamaha midnight venture . I looked on ebay but could not find one . I hit a mean bump and me and the bike took on some road rash . the crash bar took the blont of the damage . Barry:

    I had my first operation when I was 25 it was a part disc discectomy , I had a slipped disc pinching a nerve down my right leg after 12 years at 37 my spine shifted 6 milimetres off the base went into my second operation and had a fusion with 2 screws that was 13 years ago . You have good days and bad days but I can not sit around for very long it drives me crazy . I worked 4 months with a slipped disc pinching a nerve till they sent me to a surgent and he operated within 4 days . Barry

    I pulled all the pieces out of the collector , bike runs a little louder but no affect on engine . this was on 85 venture royal Barry

    Who ever took it apart last time might have put locktight on threads the last time you might have to heat it to get it off . good luck Barry

    I think if you use the chunks of rubber flying off a Metzler ME880 tire you could probably plug your tire and have spear rubber

    At what temp. does your bike climb to before your fan comes on . I drive a sec. gen and I have seen it go to 230 deg. before it drops . Barry:

    If you play around enough after taking the two bolts out it will come out but it takes some doing to get it .You might even lose you temper once or twice. You may not think it but it will come out and putting it back sometimes is just as hard. Barry:)

    This summer my wife and I were coming back from a trip in Ontario and the temp on my bike which is 2nd gen was 220 in town and then dropped to 190 on highway I have wind deflectors to direct air by the motor to help cool the bike and rider down a little bit . they work good . Barry:mustache:

    I had a 74 Cb750k And I just sold it in the spring was a great bike to get back into riding but could not mount cassette deck onto it so had to sell it and buy a Venture

    when I replace my plugs on the 85 it only takes a little bit of playing around to get them in . best to walk away and come bad after a break .or Beer

    I seen the same trailer here at costco in Windsor just after I finished building one of my own . They are nice looking though.

    one time with my first gen wash the bike and got some thing wet and the bike ran like **** I used a couple gallons to go 30 kms
