  1. You might want to look at this. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/3/11/98/28037/ITEM/HJC-IS-2-Schade-Helmet.aspx?WT.ac=SLIsearch
  2. The only picture I see is in my imagination, AND IT AINT PURTY!
  3. I'm thinkin' that my '07 RSV keeps feelin' taller and more top heavy the closer I get to 74 years young, 'specially when two up. I'm looking into the "trike" kits that just add two more wheels, not the full blown trike conversion. Mostly a matter of budget, don't want to take off all those good parts (wheel/tire, saddle bags, etc.) in order to replace them with the high $ conversion. And then there is the Can Am Spyder. Maybe find a used/demo for a decent price? It would have to be a touring model, and I'd want the manual transmission. That electronic do-dad shifter just would not make me feel comfortable about reliability. If anyone here has any experience with the Can Am or know someone who does, please comment.
  4. A flock of at least 30 robins in the yard, maybe up to 50 or so. Seems strange to see that many together at once, this far north (Indianapolis), at this time of year. Usually only see them in pairs and/or when nesting in the spring/summer.
  5. Me HEY---- ARE THOSE GUYS SPELLING (HANG ON) O-H-I-O?
  6. Did they help you get warmed up??? Make sure the flap is buttoned up.
  7. It will be tough for the Mud Hens to win. They only put nine players at a time on the field!
  8. Yep, that 'splains it all!
  9. When initially viewing "Active Threads From The Forums" there are 15 threads showing. In order to view the remaining 5 on the first page I have to click on "MORE". After getting a full 20 items on the first page, all of the following pages have all 20 items on them right away. I am curious about why all 20 items are not viewable right away when looking at the first page. Not a huge inconvenience, just curious. I'll bet someone has a very logical explanation. Probably the "boss".
  10. Do you suppose they have cassette decks? That mode of transportation hasn't been changed for years either!
  11. Well-l-l-l, I have not commented up 'till now because the subject is really none of my business. That said, I've never been accused of being tactful or "politically correct" , nor for knowing when to stay out of someone else's business. Just learned some things in 73+ years. If I were so disenchanted with anything (forum, friendship, choice of motorcycle, spouse, etc., etc., etc.) that I no longer wanted to be associated with the offending situation, I would immediately disassocate myself from it. Would not wait for a membership to expire, just walk away --- but WOULD then proceed to kick the dog, burn my motorcycle, run away from home, go curse a LEO, and yell at my religious mentor. OR, I would get over it, put it behind me, find some way to be productive, and get on with my life. Life is short. No, I do not have a PHD.
  12. Uh-h-h-h, if the Seahawks are lucky, they might beat Kevin's son's Midget team!!!
  13. Quote: May be an OK set up, but if I have to trike I want it to be a true three wheel configuration. Well-l-l, I have to consider "budget constraints", can't go into debt like the nation. I always have to pay it back. Oops! Is that political?
  14. Anyone have any experience with or know someone who has this? http://www.triggtrikekits.com/yamaha_trikes.php
  15. Wa-a-a-ahh. With fuel injection we would not have a place for such a neat accessory. Aren't we lucky?
  16. Hm-m-m-m, I thought it was the ANSWERS that are hard! Yup, and asking questions is EASY!
  17. This is a Thank You :ice_awesome-vi46644to Sylvester. Thanks to the magic of P M's the arrangements have been made for him to send it to me. Ain't life wunnerful?
  18. Unless you are in a hurry to get-er-done you might want to wait a while to see if they put it on sale. I saved a bundle. Absolute luck on the timing. They put it on sale just as I made the decision to get a trailer of some sort. Here is a copy of the thread I started back in June: Got my Harbor Freight Tag-Along trailer today at their store on E. 86th St. in Indy. Reg. price $399.99, on sale $329.99, 20% off coupon = $263.99 + $18.48 sales tax, total out-the-door $282.47. Had a busy schedule today, so have only done a partial assembly. Looks like some of the comments about cheap latches, etc. are pretty accurate, but I think it will probably work O.K. for me. I'll post again later after it's all together and I get a chance to use it.
  19. Several Harbor Freight stores in the area. Probably worth the drive to save shipping charge if one of them carries it at the store. I got mine from a store here in Indianapolis. I did a Yahoo map for Macomb twp. and a search for Harbor Freight, came up with 6 stores in the surrounding area. I couldn't get the web address to copy and paste.

    Riding Boots

http://www.bootbarn.com/Double-H-Men%27s-Road-Warrior%2710%22-Motorcycle-Boots/1006794,default,pd.html?start=1&cgid=Motorcycle%20Boots&prefn1=gender&prefv1=Men Check it out. Boot Barn probably has other boots that will fit also. May be you will find something.
  22. From what I see in Seaking's pics, anyone who has a shop/garage that clean and neat should just sit on their bike, go "Vroom-Vroom", and never VENTURE out, so no need for modified lighting!

    What'dya get?

I got memories of my dad and grampa walking the railroad tracks looking for/picking up coal. Wasn't anyone giving it away at that time.
  25. The people in this group are uhhh, rediculous, awesome, outrageous, uhhh, can't think of all the correct adjectives. Where else would someone get responses like this from comrades you have never met? KG, if jim doesn't find the freebie for me, I'll PM you about yours. Thanks to both of you!:ice_awesome-vi46644
