  1. Here are some pic's of the front 130 mounted. It is quit and smooth, haven't mounted the rear yet, getting the last out of a crappy Shinko
  2. I went with the Comander II's also with the 130 up front. The bike is a whole lot nimbler in the turns, tight and sweeping. Before with the brickstone I really had to force the bike in sweeps, if I wanted to change line of travel. I've only put 800 miles + with no issues.
  3. How great is that...
  4. All I can say about the Canadian prices, is it makes that free health care look cheap. $4.33 here.........
  5. I tried a 4.5 mm allen and it just didn't quite grab, couldn't find my 5 mm but I think thats the size....
  6. I take it you have pulled the headlight off the bucket and checked all wiring in there. Also there is a toggle switch on one of the passing lamp housings, it may have gone bad in the open position.....
  7. I have the yellow Harbor Freight lift, el cheapo, but does the job. I also bought a bracket to work with the lift off Ebay, as the motor sits below the frame. As for the red turn signals I just swap out the rear lollypops for front signals and tied into the wires so I can have running lights in the back. Got the red lenses from Kuryakun Yammie dealer here carries them for $7.50 for the pair.
  8. Discharged from the Air Force, at age 20. Bought a new 1967 Honda 160 Scrambler....
  9. X2, way better..... Paid $256 OTD and have only mounted the front. Have abot a grand left on the Shinko, what a crapper........
  10. 05 RSTD $104 01 F250 $284 + $50 smog (just a looky-lou no test)
  11. Ain't progress grand.........
  12. Unless you forgot to rack a round into the pipe, then racking a round would scare the crap out of them buggers...... LOL
  13. Put a Shinko 230 on the rear of my RSTD and I'm at 4860 on the tire now, maybe I can sqeak another 1000 out of it. The Shinko handled good, but just not a very long life. Just put on a Comander II on the front and have the rear waiting in the wings, hoping to put a spread in miles so I stop poping for a full set at the same time.
  14. Go to the Delphi fourms, you'll see'm popup on the Ultrastar forum now and then. Here is a set now I just found, do a search for 8582.1 a set for $30
  15. If your talking about the chrome eyebrows, yes, just check the distance between the bolt holes 9 1/4" I believe.
  16. Found in Fresno Ca, Kumho's 9 of them $85 OTD at America's Tire Company........ The Nexen came in and it is a flimsey tire sent it back.
  17. Some copper wire??? So batteries arn't included........
  18. I called America's Tire Company in Clovis Ca and they have 9 165/80 R15 Kumho Power Star 758's on the rack. $85 out the door, so their still out there. I don't know if they'll ship or not but worth a try 559 298-3051:080402gudl_prv:. I looked at a Nexen today and not to impressed some like it and some don't. 40 mile ride so I guess I'll put my heavy jacket on in the morning.
  19. I think the biggest complaint I could find on the Nexen was if you didn't prep the rim you could blow out the sidewall. May have this dealer pull in a Federal SS657 also. Good luck and keep us posted. I have a couple thousands left on the Shinko sitting at 5,600 now, so they suck.
  20. Are you running the BFG 155/80 15? Handles good? Maineac, what didn't you like about the Nexen???
  21. Funny I just looked at that ad 20 min. ago. Does look tempting. I've seen some references to the tire, but only to say a little to pricy. I have a tire dealer ordering in a Nexen so I can see what it looks like in real life which is about 1/2 the price of the Vredstein.
  22. My brother and I bought the Scala Multiset Pro off Ebay. Gives you bike to bike, rider to passenger, bluetooth. FM radio, works good for $184.
  23. My brother had a 96 and I had a 98 Royals, both had the toggle switch on the left driving light. I put a set on my 02 Roadie and they came with the toggle switch also. My brother bought a 06 Stratoliner and the passing lamps had a switch on the handle bar.
  24. On my 05 TD I used the T-Bag windshield bag the fits the contour of the HD tour fairing. Line flows real nice with the TD speedo. Clears the speedo by about an inch or more, so won't rub the chrome housing.
