  1. My brother had that type on his bike, easy enough to pull out to get a drink, but had to take his eyes off the road to get it back in..... he sold it and went with the handlebar style. I went with the style you clam onto the handlebar also, $20 at the bike rallies.
  2. My 05 didn't require any bracket. Just pulled the 2 bolts holding the turn signal bar on, removed the bar and bolted on the passing lamp bar. I guess the 09 is different...
  3. I went on craigslist and searched GPS, found a TOM TOM XL 350 for $30. The window attachment works great on the speedo and carry a baggie for rain. My iPhone is to the right of the GPS in a waterproof holder I got off fleabay foe $13 to the house.
  4. We have Kit foxs in this area and they are neat looking. Sorry to say they don't fair to well around the roads. When you said on the door mat, I was thinking SNATTLERAKE.
  5. 30 lbs a day, do you mean 3??? You can air up the tire and with the rear wheel off the ground spray soapy water on each side of the rim to see if the bead is leaking. Or remove the wheel and submerg in a tank of water to see where the leak is, rim or bead. Check with Pin Wheel cycle parts for a replacement rim....
  6. Not obnoxious at all, would say maybe a 5/6....
  7. X2 on that, I ran mine the same way Brake Pad did with no issues.
  8. Instead of changing over to two point sockets, I just remove the bottom tip on a regular 1157 and it fits right in, have had no problems.
  9. It's just the best way to see the country........... and God Bless it. Left my brother's place in Reno at 6:30 am, took 395 south to Bishop to see a friend then home through Yosemite to Visalia by 8:30 pm. Tired but well rested if you know what I mean...
  10. On my 05 RSTD I replaced the rear turn signals with a set of front ones and got the red lenses from Kuryakun. Simple to do.
  11. Now remember it's not 734 Hwy miles. We have a Yamaha Rhino 06 with 1875 miles, bought it new and have had no problems. If it looks new chances are it wasn't abused. The $3,500 offer shouldn't offend him, everyone puts in some wiggle room. Good luck
  12. RK, sound great, new take offs for $80 (including V-Twin clamp), made my own brackets off this site.
  13. On Delphi forms a few peeps have removed the footballs and placed small cone filters, for a better choice of words, Looked small and cheezey to me, but to each their own.
  14. My brother and I just used our Q2 set for the 1st time on a trip. From riding solo I found out the FM radio is a waste, don't have a mp3. We had paired our Q2's when we got them and a few months later for this trip we had to pair them again to talk back and fourth, up to 60 mph was fine, but at hwy speeds 70+ could barely hear him. Things were so much simpler when I had my Areial Square Four..... LOL:backinmyday:
  15. I must admit Fuzzy, it would take me longer to type out the instructions than to change the tire.......LOL
  16. You won't get enough room to roll the tire out from under the fender, you could remove the fender then proceed. I have a RSTD no center stand, but have to lift it up quite a bit to clear the fender.
  17. With louder pipes you'll notice it even more. I pluged the AIS system and mine really quited down. Just follow the instruction on here.
  18. I went with the chrome exhaust clamp off ebay, $41 shipped to the house, made the brackets off this site and my bud gave me a set of RK's he had.
  19. Our Walmart here started carring the Purolator PL 14610 and 14612 for $3.27, switched over to them.
  20. Our group hit the Gold 'N' Silver club in Reno during Street Vibrations. Had the Lemonade pork chops, wish I'd gone with the meatloaf.......... But then again I needed to get gas!!
  21. The dealer made the offer, just tell him it's a go, he just has to swap them out at his shop no charge......
  22. I wired my passing lamps as directed here to the running, so they are on all the time. I mounted a switch on the ignition cover, so if someone flashes I just reach up and turn them off. I had this switch on hand, but will change it out for a waterprof if needed.
  23. I think the driveshaft will limit you to a 165, just from looking at the 150 that's on mine now...
  24. Just don't mix Radial and Bias, thats the rub. I put the 230 Shinko Tour Master on with the rear with a E3 on the front. No issues handled fine. Like I said Shinko handled great just short life for what they call a tour master.
  25. WW's are for skinny guys that can bend over to clean them, I just can't hold my breath that long anymore...... LOL...
