  1. OK... finally got over to get it off the parts bike. Here are the pictures of the right side lens. There are two little "cracks" but it is solid. Below are pictures. Let me know if you want it, it's yours, and I will go get one of those Postal Service boxes to ship it.
  2. Please tell them THANK YOU ! :happy65: And having been through that myself, you can finally sleep and breathe after a LONG year !
  3. I think I have a speedo cable on one of my 84 parts bikes. I hope to go over to the bikes today so i will look.
  4. Both my 84s have th verticle . Posted from the hurry up and wait jury selection room .
  5. Brian.. I will still take one for my 89. I don't want to spend that much on the 87 until I get the freakin carb issues straightened out. Hope the 1 less doesn't hurt the production schedule.
  6. Looks like my blonde 84 has the right side on it. It is stored at my dad's. I will try to go by in a day or so...got jury duty tomorrow, so it might be Wednesday..
  7. I might have a right side one on one of my 84 parts bikes. I will check and let you know.
  8. :sign yeah that::sign yeah that::sign yeah that:
  9. What is the proper procedure for bleeding the clutch ? I use a vacuum pump. Do you create vacuum then pump the lever ? Hold the lever in in while bleeding ?
  10. Sorry for your loss Boomer... been there..understand that...

    plastic fix

I went to a plastic company and bought a 12X12 inch piece of scrap ABS. I then traced and cut out new tabs using wire cutters to cut the ABS and welded them on with a soldering iron. They are easy to clean up with a file and sand paper.
  12. What you are saying makes sense. There is no leakage. The fluid level was the same. It almost seemed that once I removed the top and just slowly pumped the clutch lever, it came back. What do the rest of you guys think ?
  13. I'm in the opposite. Been riding, even this morning...but now the temps are hitting 108/109 and humid..so either real early morning or late at night, but daytime is gonna be on hold for a while.
  14. so...it's been about 2 weeks and this morning my clutch is back to immediately engaging and mushy...so... I am guessing I need a new slave cylinder for my 89. Looking for recommendations on where to get one...
  15. Aahh.. that makes perfectly good sense. One of the benefits of actually seeing the situation at hand versus guessing... good luck. But if you move the fork tubes up, you can throw the front end angle off. Mine are even with the top.
  16. This only occurs on silverish green 2nd Gens...The others have a .376 schneider flange.
  17. Wish you guys best of luck. Have fun. Somebody take Brian for a short ride to "get him back on the horse" ...
  18. Here's the thread in printable form and another page with some info. It's easy. Good luck.
  19. Make sure it did not get pinched in the forks lower area when you reinstalled the forks or shoved into the side upper fairing area...
  20. Just checked and I have a left side mirror. Sorry.
  21. That looks like a really neat place. Thanks for sharing.
  22. It's a tow bar for 2nd Gens.. connect that to the rear of a 1st Gen and the front of a 2nd Gen and shazammm... the 2nd Gen is as fast...
  23. And you wonder why the 2nd Gen off spring are so dang:rasberry: ugly ???? The sign in front of it states the it is the 2nd Gen proto type
  24. I'll check and see if the extra mirror I have is left or right.. can't remember..
