I don't think you would be interested since it is such an old car, red 66 Corvette convertible. 427, 4-speed , you know typical old car...

Anybody know a legitimate and trustworthy car transport company ? I want to ship a vehicle to my son in West Virginia and reading the web sites and reviews online it seems nobody has a "good" reputation. Hard to tell if the reviews are legit. Seems a lot of these carriers will hold the car for additional money upon arrival. SSSooooo. anybody got a good recommendation ?

Just be sure to really grease the HF bearings when you get it. Better yet just upgrade to good bearings and then you don't have to worry abut bearing problems.

I still probably have the part you need. I just need to know EXACTLY which part it is. If somebody could circle the part that is needed, I will look through my carb part box and see if I can grab it. It just seems like there is confusion as to the exact part Gary is looking for.. Is this the actual part needed ????
-
That might be an option. I think if it was up in a lift the part is easier to remove since you don't have to lay on the ground or be hunched over trying to bang the POS off. It was hard enough taking the two off the 84 parts bikes and they were laying on their side(s). I an trying to establish if the spare that I have has already been stripped of the innards so I can just swap it out. Taking to my friends shop and using his little snake camera for that. Hey, I also have a list of upcoming Full Throttle rides that you might be interested in.. Need to email it to you..

Gary, If you an post a picture of the exact parts you need and are missing, I can look to see if I have them in my box from when I took my 87 carbs apart. I can look tomorrow if I know what I am looking for, but I leave for a week on Tuesday and wont be able to do anything until after I return. May you can look at other threads that show carb rebuild etc and copy a picture. Using Paint on your computer you can circle the needed part.

This is the section piece I found in the left muffler. I have tried to pull more out from the box, but wasn't able to . I am waiting to borrow my friends little scope/snake camera to go into it and check what is going on inside. I have removed several crossovers from my parts bikes and it was a real biotchy ( family version) experience and I could lay my parts bikes down on each side. Trying in on my bike has kept me scared of trying it and trying to befriend the rattle. This is the piece I removed

Anti Wobble Furbur fix?
KIC replied to Dragonslayer's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
So...is this still considered an issue and fix ? Just wondering why it has been dormant for 8 years. I have not heard of this before. -
So I received the following email regarding other motorcycle forums that have been compromised: Subject: Important information about your VerticalScope account Notice of Data Breach You may have heard reports recently about a security issue involving VerticalScope. We would like to make sure you have the facts about what happened, what information was involved, and the steps we are taking to help protect you. VerticalScope owns and operates a number of community websites. You are receiving this email because you are a registered user of the following community website(s) involved in the data breach: http://www.vulcanforums.com http://www.stromtrooper.com forums.trailvoy.com http://www.bmwlt.com What Happened? On June 13, 2016, we became aware that February 2016 data stolen from VerticalScope was being made available online. What Information Was Involved? Community member usernames, email addresses, hashed passwords, community userIDS, community website, and the IP address the username originally registered with. What We Are Doing We have invalidated passwords of all VerticalScope user accounts. We have posted a site security notification on each site updating users on the potential risk to certain accounts, the password reset and steps we are implementing to improve security. We have implemented stronger password rules (passwords now require a minimum of 10+ characters and a mixture of upper- and lower-case letters, numbers and symbols) along with automated account password expiries to encourage more frequent password changes. We will remind our users to use good password practices (not using the same password for multiple online accounts and using unique strong passwords). We are in the process of implementing additional safeguards to detect, alert and mitigate any future brute force attempts, and have notified our third party vendors that interact with our various forum API's of the February breach to allow their own security teams to investigate. We are continuing our investigation and will be collecting information to provide to the appropriate law enforcement authorities. VerticalScope is taking steps to strengthen account security. We were already using encrypted passwords and salted hashes to store passwords, and our new password controls are intended to further strengthen user security. We are taking steps to investigate and test new encryption and security technologies to further protect our users. What You Can Do To keep your account as safe as possible, we recommend that you regularly change your VerticalScope community password, and that you use a unique password for each of your online accounts. Using the same password for multiple online accounts significantly increases your chances of being compromised. Even though the passwords stolen in February were hashed, we recommend that if you were using (or are currently using) your VerticalScope community password across multiple online accounts, that you change your password for such other online accounts. We encourage you to regularly review your accounts and report any suspicious or unrecognized activity immediately. For More Information If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Community Management team by email at cmsupport@verticalscope.com or on the website that you frequent. A support thread has been created on each website, and our support teams are on there to help you through the process and answer any questions you may have. A Notice of Data Breach is also available on community websites involved in the data breach. This email was sent by VerticalScope Inc., 111 Peter Street, Suite 700, Toronto, ON, M5V2H1. If you have any questions regarding the communications you receive from us, please contact us.

The reason it works so well is that the bubbles from the carbonation makes the vehicle lighter so the gas mileage improves from the weight/drag loss. Then due to the floating sensation of the vehicle and the lighter weight from less gravity, the motor does not have to work as hard and due to the lower pressure from the higher altitude, the motor doesn't work as hard so the internal heat pressure is lower and the coolant doesn't leak out the holes. Works best in Ford products. I thought everybody knew this.... A fool born every minute, and they all voted for Obama...

Welcome, since it is too late to tell you to run and not ,look back, all I can tell you is you have now entered the twilight zone. An alternative dimension that is inescapable. We do have a rolling troll by the name of CowPuc that we believe to be an escaped computer algorithm from the Ashley Madison website, but not sure. If you continue to be concerned with, or have problems with, your cooling system, try switching or buying a new radiator cap. They are $23.87 at Boats.net cap: http://www.boats.net/parts/detail/yamaha/Y-26H-12462-00-00.html This has a lot of diagrams. Search through them for information. click on the nearest part like radiator hose to find all the cooling parts etc. http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Yamaha/Motorcycle/1989/VENTURE%20ROYALE%20-%20XVZ13DW/parts.html -
Check your radiator cap. I was having problems with my 89 "boiling" after parking. One day I stopped during a prayer ride with Full Throttle and mine dumped all over the pavement. I switched caps with my 87 and the boiling stopped, the temps run lower on the temp gauge, and I have not had any other issues. I plan on ordering a new cap from Boats.net for $23.87 http://www.boats.net/parts/detail/yamaha/Y-26H-12462-00-00.html

Dang...just when we get his feet back on the floor and his ego out of the clouds.....another one comes along and screws it up. Just tell him he had a lucky guess.....

I really appreciate you posting on nothing and wasting my time reading about nothing. Allowing my intense and information soaked brain take a holiday and relax reading and thinking about nothing on a holiday weekend is great. Actually I only read this at work on Tuesday , so I feel very relaxed and have a good reason to tell my supervisor nothing and accomplish the same. Thanks again for the relaxing and intuitive insight shown here on this thread..
