    Guys, Gals and others, I will speak for me, and just me. I am relatively new to this forum and know each of you have a vested interest in this site, so to speak, with all of the useful and accurate information I have seen you post, sometimes years old. Your dedication and determination regarding safety, tech information and overall just helping those of us less experienced/gifted on these matters are unequaled on any forum I have been a part of. To say that the information given on this site is helpful, is most likely the understatement of the year. I know personally, having bought a RSV last fall that required electrical help, that I would have never tackled a seemingly simple task as tracking down the ignition, coils, etc to a problem with the pickup coil saving me hundreds at the stealer, without the help of Goose. There are many here, that should be attesting to the same thing. Fellas, I am not sure what is going on with this thread/post but this I do know. We have many things in each of our lives that drain us dry, suck the life out of us and leave us looking for our release in the bikes we so love. I think each of you have much to offer this site, and am especially grateful for the unselfish help Goose offered me as a newbie. I truly hope, Goose, that you continue to help us with our bikes. I think I understand your need to relax. But I hope it is only for a while. I have seen several post in the last few days wondering if your ok....Again, speaking just for me, James

    Thanks Rod! kinda shocked me seeing it here, but it seems we are among friends! Yes it's true, 7lbs 4 oz, 22-3/4" long baby SOONERS fan and wide receiver?.. Now I just have to fit that newfangled car seat to the Venture! Anyone have experience with this? Thanks for all the well wishes, everyone is doing great!

    We are headed to the hospital at 8pm tonight with our daughter/son in law for our first grandchild. They will induce labor tonight and hopefully be born quickly! We already know it's a boy so we will have another biker soon! Congratulations Mini

    Ok, after much thought and deliberation, (running up/down stairs 1000 times from mancave/stable to get on computer for tech help will speed up this process) we think it is time for a IPHONE APP for VentureRider.org. No small task I'm sure, but I (my knees) would be up for increasing dues to cover cost? Sure would be nice to take the forums on a ride, maybe posting location pins to map, maybe connecting with others while in a certain area, etc. Ideas? Suggestions? I am sure Freebird will enlighten....... please..... And then again, maybe this has been discussed previous..

    Big XII CHAMPIONS????? In Volleyball??? I very much look forward to having West Virginia in the big XII along with most of the sports reporters and TV celebs here in OK. If you want to hear all about the big XII and can listen to clear discussion on the league and have access to the radio at all during the day, or listen online, you can listen live to the Oklahoma sports animal at http://www.wwls.com Click on the "listen" tab and listen live online. or you can download the I-Phone app and listen on your phone. I encourage it. It will give you great insight into the players, coaches, Big XII moves in players, league etc. Hang with it, these guys are good... Best of luck, look forward to watching WV and see how they hang.....

    The good news for you is... you have almost everyone coming back next year... You will be LOADED at LSU. The bad news for Yammer is WV has joined the big XII. I am not sure they understood what that means... Oh well, this is exactly why I LOVE watching college football!!!!!! p.s. Sure could use a shrimp po'boy right now.... yum yum:thumbsup2:

Acted distracted, lost and in thought about where the after party was and what kinda Turtle soup he was gonna have. Good job Leslie, next year maybe we will have a 4 team final then national championship and get rid of you one game earlier.... talk about not having a team ready to play.....

    Well, as much as I would like to see Les Miles get beat (Left Oklahoma State not so eloquently and crazy as a rabid howler monkey) (dont know why I care, cant stand O-State either), I really dont think Nick Saban will make the same mistakes twice. In reality, Bama by 10 sounds about right, maybe a little liberal. Bama by three maybe. In my dreams, Bama by 42....Roll Tide!
