  1. Daytona Beach. Because: Lots of great sites for bikers to visit, including manufacturers of custom bikes and paint jobs. Great weather all year long. The town is set up to accept huge numbers of bikers and is biker friendly. The beach. The speedway. The various museums devoted to racing. The flea markets with lots of motorcycle related items for sale. A number of very large motorcycle dealers in the area that run regular tour rides for bikers. Famous watering holes. The beach. "Destination Daytona" conglomerate of biker related dealers. Did I mention The Beach! Steven L. Ashe; 2006 Black Cherry Venture
  2. Okay, so I only want to carry two of those folding chairs that pack up in the little cloth bags. If the trunk on the RSV will not support that weight and/or created drag, then how can I safely carry the two chairs? How about one on each side, atop the saddle bags on some sort of chrome rack? Is there such a rack for the side bags?
  3. BluesLover, I viewed you gallery and like the looks of your tour pack rack. From what distributor did you buy that one?
  4. I need a luggage rack for the tour pack on my 2006 Venture. I really like Diamond R products but cannot bring up their site. Can anyone recommend a rack, other than Yamaha's? I would prefer a small chrome rack, as I hate to ruin the lines of the motorcycle. I have ridden for a year without a rack, but now need somewhere to bungie on folding chairs for concerts.
  5. My black cherry 2006 Venture needed very little to make it complete. I did want cup holders, fore and aft, and a rider backrest, so I contacted Diamond R for both. The backrest went on without a hitch, as per directions. No drill and a perfect fit. The rest adds a lot of comfort to my ride. The cup holders also were made to fit my bike and look great. I have gotten a fair number of compliments on these holders, along with some, "Where'ja get them?" I am happy with Diamond R's products and service and do not hesitate to recommend them to all. The only thing that I would like to see on the Venture is a reverse gear, ala the "Wing". With the weight of the Venture, I really do have to be careful where I park, so that I do not have to back the heavy beast up any sort of grade to get out. Otherwise, I really do enjoy this bike. I have owned many bikes since 1959, to include seven Harleys. If I need to buy another bike, it will be a Venture.
