installed my led's today, fit just fine. wow what light, works just fine with the h.i.d. headlight. was able to do some dark driving time with them. but there is some static noise. will deal with that after the "bend ride". reguards don c.

buz you may have to inject this mixture a couple of times. best way is to take out the scharder valve and jack up the bike. as i said it's only a temp. fix. reguards don c.

no way around it got to jack it up and pull it apart. not a bad job with a couple of nuggets working on it. i promise to leave my 25# sledge hammer at home. no zerk fittings anywhere. i have a spare swingarm. that i have also thought about adding z-fittings on the arm but have not operated yet. kreg have you done the 1/2 oz tranny fluid & the 1/2 oz 40 wt fork oil mix injected in the top of the shock? rick butler came up with this quick fix for the grone but it's only a tem. fix. let me know when your ready to operate. i love working on others bikes. just like grandkids spoil'em and give them back. not necessary the way you got them. don c.

jt your such a hoot. very glad to see you posting here more often. reguards don c. -
these bikes have a natural "whine " in them. 'cause of the way the gears are cut. some of folks have a loder whine than others. if your mech thinks there is a problem let them change it out. your still under warrenty. reguards don c.

hi shot i installed a hid headlight in my bike a while back. i realy like the light it puts out. i'am also thinking about installing these led driving lights on the scoot. i do have a little issuse with the hid headlight. as in sometimes when you turn the key on the hid comes on but when you start the scoot the hid goes out. then you have to restart the scoot for it to "reset". one other thing is the other night i was ridening the scoot late at night & the hid just shout down at hwy speeds (only happened once so far). now i can not speak for anyone else, but i have read a couple of post. as some other members have had some problems with the hid but overall i'am well pleased with the hid light. and what i've seen sofar about these led driving lights will make a great addition to lighting up the night. reguards don c.

Winters knocking..what are your plans for the bike this winter?
gunboat replied to 1BigDog's topic in Watering Hole
hi ruffy i would like to ask abouit your winter rebuild on your driving lights. you said your going to rewire them with led lights that cost $112.00 each. may i ask who has these light bulbs & what are the light watt output? thanks in advance don c. -

hi clint thanks for your input on your c/t experiance. as i have said this is a mod not for everyone. i my self am well pleased with my over all c/t experiance. i have stated before, i have had the wobbles twice. once with a m/c tire and another with my first c/t. but both times i was over 110 mph. i now keep my high speed around 80-85 mph. i cruse around 70-75. i have no need to go faster ( but i have had the bike to 95 with no issuses recently ). send me a pm and i'll buy your c/t from you. thanks again for your insight & thoughts. reguards don c.
