I had this mod done to my old '99 rsv. one of the best free mod's you can do if your a little short legged. it is a whole lot of work. the air shock fill valves will be close to the handlebars but they will be ok. as you only can lower the forks that 1". I see that you are 5'11 have you thought about having rick butler do his mod on your seat? well worth the short time that the seat is off the bike and at his shop for the mod. I would contact him first by pm and get his thoughts on moding your seat. regards don c.

Texas requires it also, same size as a car/truck plate. cost as much as the one for the bike. regards don c. p.s. got to renew it every year. but no safety inspection required.

hi annie & alan sorry for not posting sooner. brad ( squidley ) came over two weekend's ago and took the trailer to his place to start the prep and painting. i have talked to dave( utahventure ) and have it planed to meet him in cortz, co with the trailer on may 18, 2013. i am planing to leaving houston the 16th of may. this will give me two full days to arrive in cortz. ( i will be leaving from work ) i plan on puting the trailer in the back of my pickup. i had planed on towing the trailer behind the trike but i'll be able to make better time with the truck. now the real work will start to take shape. as the trailer will be at utahventure's home after the weekend of may 18th. any volenteers to help get it to portland? please contact utahventure ( dave ) with any help or ideas. regards don c. p.s. annie ya'll have to put up with the texas tags on the trailer for a while longer. as i've just renewed the tags for another year.

hi johnnyB so far nothing yet as to finding a c/t that will fit the front rim. i have been looking at the old style classic c/t tires, even found a company in england that makes them. i belive that cooper tire co here in the u.s. also makes the old style c/t but it's the same story nothing so far to fit the front rim. looks like the only choice is 1- to mode the front rim or 2- to have a new rim built and my research shows around a $1000.00 for a new rim. but i'am still looking. regards don c.
