    hi all thanks for all the prayers, thoughts and well wishes. i'am blessed to have so many friends & family here. i'll be going back to the doctor monday to have the staples and cather ( i hate this thing ) pulled out. i'll be getting a report about the lympod glands, but the doc sayed he didn't see any issuses while he was in there. looks like i'll be missin another international and don's mx day this year. but i can't waite till next year. hope to meet up with ya'll some where down the road. best reguards don c.

    hi walter and keith i was glad to meet keth finaly. looking forward to him joining the family. i know you were eyeing those led driving lights. but keith said he would be keeping an eye on you. keith will not have a problem adjusting to the scoot , looks like they were made for each other. hopefully later this summer we'll be abbe to have a m&e over in your neck of the woods. thanks again walter. best reguards don c.

    hi all they let me go home this afternoon, my monkey roscio was making too much noise. thanks to all of the family here for all the wishes and prayers. i'am truly blessed to be thought of by all the family i have here. i will be home for about 30 days before going back to work. as of now i don't know if i'll be making the international in cody or don's mx day. ( having to use all of my sick & vacation time ) but watch out for next year. best reguards to all don c.

    yes you can just cut off the ends and solider on new ones. but i wanted all new cables and wanted to learn more about my bike. when i did all of this my cb was not working and i was not a member of the ventureriders. i rode for the first two years of buying the bike used and never used the cb. it was after joining the venturesriders that i found out why my cb was not working. i had all ready cut the cb cable off the mount). a member here told me to check the male/female plug under the trunk going to the cb transmitter. the plug had come undone from the cb. may have been that way for a long time. so i went ahead a did a complete cable change out for both antenna's. reguards don c.

    hi rick i did the mod a couple of years ago. it's not a bad job but is a good day's work. just follow the tech section that listed in the other post. i realy like the look of the fire sticks. i got the black ones ( 1 for the cb and 1 for the am-fm radio ). front faring got to be removed, gas tank comes off, both seats come off also, and the trunk comes unbolted. you don't have to remove it but make sure it won't slide around. if i can help give me a call #'s in my profile. reguards don c. p.s. i didn't buy the fold over adapters but that's just me.

    hi terry i installed my 1-1/2 risers a couple weeks ago, at kregerdoodle's mx day. forgot to check the radio cable. yep it was tight and had pulled loose at the connecton under the faring just enough for the radio to stop working. i pulled the faring off and just rerouted the cable some. make sure you use a towel on the gas tank to protect the tank and paint. also would not hurt to have a second person to help steady / hold the bars while you hold them. just follow the post from silvrt reguards don c.

    hi all great ride hal & val thanks for the day. had a great rubin sandwich w/ hand made onion rings, cathie had liver and onions. got home at 6:00 pm yesterday ( pulled anouther one of my infamous 24 hr days ) after 356 miles. we split off from the group after lunch and headed home. took hwy. 30 to huntsville but took a short detour to bedies, texas. stoped at the only gas station there, been that way forever. they have a cuite t-shirt for sell that says " where in the hell is bedies,texas". took f.m. 1696 back to huntsville. then f.m. 1725 back home. had a great day with friends even took in a motorcycle show in a ditch at over 45 mph. very blessed day the old man up staris was watching over this member. reguards don c.

    i'am just saying i had nothing to do with someone's KEY missing. but i do have a MIGHTY bright yellow sledge hammer i can bring to the gunfight . just trying to help out my brothers. but with 3 against one 1 got to help somewhere . love ya buddy's don c.

    sorry to hear about your missing key, all i can say is i don't have it. i have heard stories about what would happen if the KEY was ever left alone even for a short time. but don't worry it will show up sometime. maybe as a raffle gift at the cody international or even as far away as new york, maybe even at don's mx day , it could show up anywhere? i'am just saying. reguards don c.

    hi all thanks to everyone for the prayers and well wishes. and everyone's stories about their prostate operations. it gives me great hope that this is just another bump in the road for me. as i have already beat cancer once before 17 years ago before sarah was born. she ask me the other day was i going to live, (funny what goes on inside a child's mind). yes i told her i will be around for a long time. i finale have my operation set for may 9. love and peace to all. reguards don c.
