    hi folks got to visit with ponch today. kreg, hal, lonna & brad were already there visitng with cathy & ponch. man what a improvement i saw with ponch. the tirr hospital has done wonders with david. but it's his determantion to get better and get out of there. i also know it's the work of god and all the thoughts and prayers of the whole VENTURE FAMILY. david was looking at pictures that lonna & brad had brought. david was remembering a lot of names and putting them to the correct faces. he still has a way to go but it had me in tears when i left to see him in such better shape than just a few weeks ago. brad will most likey be posting soon with a better up date. reguards to all don c.

    welcome to the darkside, hope it works out for you. i have had nothing but positive results from going to the darkside. but as i have stated it's not for everyone. i no longer have a 2-wheel rsv. but i do have a trike with 2- c/t's on the back. please read all the post's on using a car tire. i wish you many miles of care free rideing as i have had. feel free to contact me with any questions. my # is in my profile, call me anytime. best reguards don c.

    hi all drove the trike on it's first long distance ride since i bought it. went out to west texas, to ft.davis. total of 1,400 miles round trip. used 52.7 gallons of fuel, avg mpg for the trip was 25.19. i would say that's not bad for two up and pulling a loaded trailer. avg speed was about 70 mph. left ft.davis sunday morning around 8:am & arrived back home just after 8:00pm sunday night. 690 miles in 12 hours with a bbq break at cooper's in junction, texas. (cathie tells me she will not be doing any iron butt rides with me) my lowest mpg was 21.5 to a high of 29.7. so what i have read about our trike's mpg, i would say i'am right in the ball park. had a great weekend. reguards don c.

    hi folks thanks to all who came to this little shingdig. what a time it was, great day with the temp's in the mid-90's. BIG KUDO'S to Vance & Brenda for hosting a after dunkin party at their lovey home on the san barnard river. they have been very busy with things and took time out to help with the fun. Brenda that colbber was WOW, but the whole spread was top notch. thanks again. the pictures will be posted soon ( waite till ya'll see squids new hat and t-shirt ) from the folks who took them. TO my bestest friends squidley, sweetnothing THANKS. monkeyboy i got ya when you were not expecting it. what a great birthday present to me. just one more thing please keep ponch & libit in your prayers. they would have been there. best reguards to all don c. / poppa gunboat
