    hi bert welcome to the vr's i agree with buddy rich. i have also used bg 44k in the tank to clean out the carbs but my bike was runing. good luck and again welcome. keep us informed on your progress. ya'll will like the rsv on those day long ride of hundreds of miles. reguards don c.

    no this was a alumin block that was machined down on one side to look like an " L ". and once installed you never had to remove the light bar to remove the faring. i forgot who made them but maybe some one will chimein and tell us. reguards don c.

    got home last night about 5:45 pm, 435 miles from start to finish. pulled anouther one of my infamous over 24 hours days. but it was worth it to spend some time with jt's family & friends. the vfw & pgr members did a great job. it was agood day to ride and ride with a good friend, mr doodle. thanks for taging along. jt you will be missed but you will remembered. best reguards don c.

    about time ya'll getting with the TEXAS LIFE STYLE. didn't i hear as of last night news that at&t was backing out of that deal to buy t-mobil ? in doing so at&t was going to pay a canceling fee of $100 billon to t-mobile. don c.

    a few months back i mounted 2 superhorns ( red & balck ) on the front wind deflectors on my '99 trike. everyone that saw them liked them but they would not blow as loud as i liked. true i could hear them at 80 mph, but they sounded tinney. like some old vw horns. could never get them to sound better, so i just removed them. and other day i installed a wahoo horn on the other side using the carbon one adapter. i like the sound now, loud. on my old '99 i had a trumpet type air horn mounted to the left side pumpkin, with the compressor mounted where the right oem had been. now that was loud. reguards don c.

    i have heated gloves, but i've have only used them as gloves. i never had a problem keeping my torso warm even in 30 degree weather. i am a diabetic (10 years ) & the last year or so my hands have been getting cold. so maybe this winter i'll plug in the heat controller and start using the heat. i know i live in south texas so it realy doesn't get that cold or stay cold for long. thats just me. don c.
