  4. A neighbor and I both made stands from scratch for our black powder pistols from scrap lumber. Only had to buy the hinge, had stain and lacquer, and bought stick-on felt for where the pistol touched touched the wood. Total cost was about $4.

  14. Too big and top heavy for a reintroduction to motorcycling after 40 years. My recommendation is to go with something smaller at first. 650-750 range. There are lots of them out there used with low miles. After 6 months to a year of riding again, sell it and go for the bigger bike. Also take the Rider training class. The refresher training will be a good experience. My
  15. My experience with policies is that you pay by the month and your coverage is good until the end of the month . I don't see why your old policy expired in the middle of the month. Even with COBRA, which I'm paying monthly for my wife. Very odd.
  16. Different tires will change the handling of your venture. I found that was so when I put a set of Avon Venom's on my 06 RSV. I think the original tires were metzlers when I bought it used. Even so, it's a top heavy bike that you must be aware of at all times. My

  20. Mac it is. went that way about three years ago. On the windows pc, there is a malware file in a startup file that loads itself every time you turn it on. Can you start in safe mode? That doesn't load a lot of drivers and extras. Does win 10 even have a safe mode?
  21. I would also add to our Shooters, lead from shooting and reloading can get in your system. A blood test for lead will tell you if you have a problem.
  22. I believe that Tire is a Cobra Venom. I had installed a set on my 06 RSV. Not long after I was seeing small cracks in the sidewall. I believe They had some earlier issues with cracking. But man that tire is BAD.

Sold both and compromised on a vtx1300. G
