  1. Thanks for the post . It shows me how little I know about motors. But I'm learning ...slowly
  2. I like wings and really like that one . Have fun with that.
  3. That makes me smile and a great picture of you guys.
  4. Puc you have a good start . My brothers ST 1100 . I tell him "Your bike needs a truck" he puts a small dog on the tank too. I don't say anything either way , he has as much fun as I do.
  5. you guys are living the dream Puc. Keep up the good work.
  6. I like everything in your pictures. Cool cactus pictures , I would be carful lying down anywhere with the little cactuses . Thanks
  7. Seems that if you copy and paste this sales wording in google you can buy this bike , car, 4 wheeler in just about any state or Provence you would like. My daughter was just about sucked in on a rental place .Same M.O. copy paste to google and she could have rented a town home just about anywhere Craig's list operates.
  8. Look at the numbers, XS gives up 20 + hp V 65 liquid cooled 10.92 in the 1/4 mile. I would say that you are the better driver in this case.
  9. I would think it was drivers error on the V65 . According to Cycle's March, 1983 test, "Its horsepower translates directly into an immediate gut-wrenching rush, unmatched by any other production street machine". To anyone who ever felt it, that V65 rush boils down to one word. Unforgettable I have to stick up for my 83 V65 in the stable
  10. Venture sighting near Monticello MN ! Waite waite that was me on my first ride of the year (seasonal rider syndrome and yes I live here on purpose ) I got a full tank and just couldn't stop nor did I want to .73° and sunny until it started to rain again but I had already got a big smile on. How can a bike that's 29 years old run like this and bring a feeling like nothing else. I have been working 6 days a week 3-11 at a school when kids are gone , this is just what the doctor ordered. The simple things do wonders.

  13. That puts a smile on my face too.
  14. A friend had the same car and with three guys in the back it would do wheelies , crazy fast!
  15. Puc I had a mercury Montego MX convertible with the 351 Cleveland in it . I was 16 what a car I had so much fun with it .we would go out to the winter wheat fields put the top down put it reverse and just let it go where ever the car wanted to, called it "Boating" .Couldn't keep tires on it just wanted to burn , burn , burn .
  16. I'll jump in to...♫♪♫ "HAPPY BIRTHDAY " ♪♫♫

  19. What is it?
  20. Nice to see where you live and ride. Great looking bike too.
  21. That's what I said when we went through Sturgis . The bride said "You can't go to a Tupperware party and not see Tupperware " My brother goes every year and has tried to get me to. My driveway is long and very soft, 800 Lbs.+ won't float.
  22. Nice!! even though there is a handle on the top I carry miter / slider saws by the sides of the bed they can be fussy . I never waste an chance to add to the tool stable. Did a ceramic floor in our foyer and got my biscuit joiner to do that job.
  23. All the best with your surgery. I had the same thing done to mine last December and it was a huge relief from the constant throbbing , none now.
