I just recived my new backrest from Utopia and I'm just a bit concerned about the measurement back . They say 1 1/2" from the front of the molded drivers bucket. When I hold this in a dry fit it just looks off . Has anyone installed this backrest on a !st gen and is that right? thanks you all.Bill

I was on the local CL and posted was a Corbin seat with backrest off a 85 venture! Well I have an 85 venture and have been on the fence about getting a utopia back rest and this deal was about $70.00 more than just the rest. Long story short I contacted him by email and left my number and while I was a church yesterday he called and left his # called back "Just sold it" It was even the right color for my bike. I find the stock seat very comfortable and just want a backrest . In all reality I don't go all that far (yet) and I have a Corbin on my V65 Magna with a sliding backrest that seat was bad to start with. So do the Utopia rest work well ? Can the passenger get on easily . I'm thinking I can live with the stock seat and the color is a perfect match or should I keep hunting for a Corbin? A new Cobin is roughly half of what my bike cost.thanks

Your right on Big Tom , I asked the judge why we couldnt start sooner than 9:30 and that just what he said about all the things going on that the jury does not see or hear. I wanted our company to have those hours , not going to happen.

I was seated on a jury a few weeks ago, interesting to say the least. You start the day @ 9:30 a 20 min break @ 10:45 and then a 1 ½ hr lunch @ noon a break at 2:00 and done for the day @ 4:00 . This was a running from a police officer and that is a felony in Minnesota. I was the only person that rides a motorcycle and I convinced the other jurors that he wasn’t running. I was late at night and he was drunk and the Harley made a lot of noise. They had him for the DUI but the state did not prove he was running. He signaled his turns and was driving fast, well as fast as a Harley will go (85 / 90) this all started because of a wide turn at a stop sign. These big bikes are hard to handle at slow speeds and the dash cam proved it.

My brother is going and has asked me to go also. I'll have to see what the weather is doing and the work schedule. Are you going?

Well I think St Cloud is a great place to stay . I live between Minneapolis and St. Cloud and if we have a choice the family & I would rather go to St.Cloud. Restaurants a plenty, our favorite is Granite City Brewery it's a micro brewery that is slowly branching out great beers and a fun menu. I'm working in St. Cloud right now and a iron worker who lives there told me about his favorite restaurant. RJ’s American Grill It was great. There are Mexican, road houses, sushi ,Mom & Pop, Buffets. And hundreds more. Give a call when your up and I'll steer you around .Bill & Crew

I bought a camera from "on time digital" and they did the same scam need to buy battery and shipping insurance too. I researched these cameras to no end and looking for the absolute lowest price driving the bride nuts in the mean time. Well with all the research I "NEVER" looked into the company selling the camera, if I had there was a bunch of warnings. these low life's even used my card in Germany. All the charges got back up and what a great eye opening lesson I got for free. My old man would say "A good lesson either hurts or cost allot, sometimes both" do a search on companies before you give them a card number . Best of luck stick with B&H.

I'll tell you my electric fence story , of course it's on the cousins farm in Iowa back in the 60's . Out in the apple orchard they have a E fence to keep the 3 horses away from the apple trees and I'm playing with the cousins new slinky , got this thing wrapped around my arm and I'm trying to see how far I can get this to stretch twirling it around in a circle. Then it lands on the fence and gives me a good jolt and I do the minnow dance and can not figure what just happened but it happened again . I ran but the new spring steel slinky can stretch for what seems like miles and giving me a jolt every 3 seconds as I run screaming and crying . That was 50 plus years ago and every time I see my aunt she says remember when , Oh I do . -
For the price of one night in a Hotel / Motel and you can have a great tent . I have camped all my life and now I'm kayaking and my gear works great there too. we go for days at a time and the thing that makes a easy night is a sleeping pad I have a Synmat UL 7 this is a nice as my bed at home. Rolls up to the size of a thermos . I buy the best stuff I can and have had some things for 35 + years .

How cool is that .I had no idea you could tap right off the well like that. I live 7 miles from a nuclear power plant and everything in my house is electric. Years ago the plant paid for all the schools and cities elec. but now the can't because everyone pays for it not just our town.It wouldn't be fair or so they say.

Very cool. Makes me all fuzzy too.
