I didnt like the visions either when they first came out but they grew on me , now I love the looks especially with the trunk off . Never had to take out a loan on a bike before but I fell in love with this one and decided what the heck , you only live once so I got exactly what I wanted . I used to think Ventures, GWs and other dressers were old man bikes but here I am an old man and now I see them as the comfortable way to ride. Pics are coming , It was 10:30 when I got home so I havent got around to it yet. This is a great site guys!

I gave up on buying a used venture and got a new Victory Vision today. Just got tired of all the bs dealing with sellers who dont want to be straight up . Anyway I got the bike that impressed me the most , and 3 years of payments to go with it. Thanks to everyone on this site for the tips. Please understand Im not in any way kicking on Ventures , its just that for a little more money for new vs. new I think the Vision is the best for me. Now Ive got to go to the roadstar forum and say goodbye to some more great folks.

Tried the bike out today , the guy said the cruise didnt work but I was able to set it thanks to info on this site , however the bike has a salvage title and it just doesnt feel 100 percent right. I know I should have asked him about the title but I would have checked it out anyway even if I knew about it. The bike is an 05 with 15k miles for $6500.00 on craigslist Fayetteville NC if anybody is interrested. Im thinking about a new Victory Vision , just dont feel like buying somebody elses problem.

I hope to have pics for you tomorrow and more importantly in October when we ride to Daytona for biketoberfest ! Been ridin a Roadstar for 5 years and need something a little more comfortable with cruise , for the long trips.

I hope the bike turns out to be decent . Im going to check out an 05 RSV tomorrow armed with some knowledge picked up from the folks on this site , hopefully Ill be able to figure out if its worthy or just a dud. Wish me luck !

Wheres the fuse box ? Is there a fuse for just the cruise control or is it tied in to something else ? thanks

Sounds good . The guy selling the bike says the cruise was working when he bought it a year ago , other than that he couldnt give me any clues. Are there any particulars for using ( setting ) the cruise ?

Im going to look at an 05 Venture for sale and the owner says the cruise stopped working. Are there any normal issues I should look for ? Is the cruise control reliable on these bikes or problematic ? Any info would be greatly appreciated Thanks
