  5. The wires in the bags should be on the left side of your bike, while u are sitting on it. I like the stock and you might find what you need from a wrecked bike. Other option is to get a bluetooth headset / intercom. The CB function can be very nice if you are riding in a group.
  6. Woman dies from injuries following motorcycle crash Updated: Friday, 06 Jul 2012, 8:52 AM EDT Published : Friday, 06 Jul 2012, 8:52 AM EDT Rod Hissong KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - The Allen County Coroner's Office has released information on a woman that has died following a motorcycle crash in eastern Kosciusko County Thursday afternoon. According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department report, Thomas C. Officials said the bike immediately began to skid and then flipped on the road, according to witnesses. Harwoods passenger and wife, Paula Harwood, 39, Bourbonnais, Illinois, was thrown from the motorcycle and apparently struck by another motorcycle. Paula Harwood had sustained injuries to her head, according to the report. Thomas Harwood was seriously injured as he struck the pavement. He's currently listed in serious but stable condition at Parkview Regional Hospital.
  7. I wound my spring on the cruise control one turn and reassembled, now I am wondering if my cruise will work. . .
  8. I just received news that a local rider and his wife went down in Indiana, the preliminary reports were that he lost control when the rear tire blew out. I know him and he is a pretty conservative rider. His wife did not survive the crash and he is in bad shape. My training was always, let off the gas, no breaks and steer to the side slowing down gradually. I have never experienced a blow out in all my years of riding, I have had tires gradually go flat. Please respond as to your experience with a blow out and any tips for riding it out. We will keep our friend and family in thoughts and prayers.
  9. never know when that will come in handy
  10. Ok we got the lead up, hope everything went well and my wife wanted to remind you the opening goes in the back of the hospital gown
  11. Question, are you trying to go to your phone or do you want to use the intercom / cb function. You could buy a connector and wire it up so you could use it with seperate headphones but I would make sure the quick connector was on the cord from the helmet ... in addition to the gas tank connector. 12. When I went to the VA for hearing aids, they made me go get a colonoscopy first. It was the brunt of a lot of jokes butt while they do it, if they find anything they will correct any minor issues while in there. I guess it should be routine maintenance for the over 50 crowd. The worst part is the prep and it will give you peace of mind or identify any issue early while still manageable.

  21. I personally like the road kings drilled out. Not too loud, fine on the highway, nice manly rumble and very little popping. . . You can find them cheap everywhere
  22. My thoughts are you r running rich now and the carbs probobly need to be adjusted, see if your mileage drops but I would adjust before the pipe yellows . . .

  24. you want to stop centered on the saw cut, it will sense you then, if you are in the middle fat chance on tripping it. When they do an overlay you should watch them come in and saw cut , usually a square and 45's by the corner, they lay the wire in. You don't need any magnets or vodo but you do need to be near the coil.
