  8. After 30 I retired on a friday from the pd, party on saturday and went to work at 911 on monday. I understand being totally burned out with a public full of people who act worse than 6th graders. You are 4 maintenance days away and time will go quickly. Stay safe . . .

  10. I would drain the tanks and try a rust remover, then coat it and be done or run on an auxillary tank, why do the work and maybe have to go back and do it again. I actually saw an old wing with a boat tank where the trunk goes. He said he was fixing the tank but wanted to ride. Ugly butt. . .

  13. I want one, went to JC whitney on the way home from the last M&E and looked at their bags, I don't know how many nauga's they had to kill to make it but they were mangy lookin. I have seen nice bags and I guess you get what you pay for, I do know from looking at them the back piece needs to be stiff. Let us know what you do and pictures please.
  14. rock it out
  15. echo on the relay, fuse it at or near the battery ( I pulled the tank to run wires) and zip tie the relay by the fuse that goes on the light. I would bet a stick of gum the wire is chaffed where it runs into the light bar, small wire loom is in order.
  16. were not all bad
  17. that shouldn't be stuck, it is probably being held in by the contact, I would bet you could fish it out as this is a common problem. Take a round toothpick, cut the end square about 1/3 to 1/2 the taper, slide it in and twist as you push , once in put pressure to one side as you pull back.. other option is a small easy out, you would have to use the other end as a gauge.
  18. upon closer examination, i need to ride
